On February 13, 2022, at approximately 1423, I responded code 1 (non-Emergency) to [300 BLOCK] Tanner Bridge Circle, in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, I made contact with Danny Morrow at the end of the driveway, who had a red mark on the left side of his chin. The mark appeared to be blood, and he had a scratch on his right hand with blood coming from it. I asked Mr. Morrow what happened, and he stated, ask them what happened.

I approached the house and spoke with the caller Ms. [VICTIM #1]. I asked Ms. [VICTIM #1] what had happened. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated her brother, Mr. Morrow has been drinking for three days straight and when he drinks, he gets aggressive. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated she was fusing about his drinking problem, then Mr. Morrow got in her face and pushed her, so she pushed him back and threatened to call the police. I asked Ms. [VICTIM #1] how did Mr. Morrow get the scratch on his chin, and she said she guesses it was from when she pushed him back.

I asked Mr. [WITNESS #1] and Mrs. [WITNESS #2] what happened; they stated their son is an alcoholic, all he does is drink and needs help. They stated that their son had gotten in Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s face, he pushed her, and she pushed him back.

I went back to speak with Danny Morrow, who stated that Ms. [VICTIM #1] pushed him and said “hit me, “but he didn’t do it because he knew that’s what she wanted.

Mr. Morrow was placed in custody with handcuffs behind his back that were double-locked and checked for fit. Mr. Morrow was transported to Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, charged with O.C.G.A 16-5-23 (F) SIMPLE BATTERY (FAMILY VIOLENCE)

I checked the patrol vehicle before and after the arrest.
