On Monday, September 12th, 2022, at approximately 2046 hours, I was dispatched to a Domestic Dispute at [200 BLOCK] Segars Road. I responded Code 1 (non-emergency) due to both parties being separated.

Upon arrival, I observed a female on the front porch pacing. I walked up to the female, later identified as [VICTIM #1], and observed blood on her right cheek. I asked her what had happened, and she stated that she and her sister (Stephaine Sharp) had been arguing about her soon-to-be ex-brother-in-law, had scratched her face, and pushed her to the ground. Photos were taken of [VICTIM #1]’s face before she cleaned up.

I walked into the residence and asked Stephanie what had happened. She stated that she had been drinking and wanted to see. Her sister, [VICTIM #1], walked up to her, and they began arguing. She then shoved [VICTIM #1], causing her to go to the ground, but she doesn’t remember scratching her on the face.

Sgt. Jordan arrived, and I informed him of what had occurred. Sgt. Jordan and I walked back into the residence and informed Stephaine that she was under arrest for Battery – Family Violence. She asked if she could take her backpack with her, and I stated she could after I looked through it. I looked through the bag and removed items that she couldn’t take with her.

Stephaine exited the residence and placed her hands behind her back without incident, and I secured her in handcuffs. The handcuffs were checked for fit and double-locked. Stephaine was placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle without incident and secured with a seat belt.

I transported Stephanie to the Barrow County Detention Center without incident and informed them that she had been drinking prior to her arrest. Stephanie was ambulatory but needed assistance walking into the facility. Nurse [REDACTED] entered the pre-admission area and assessed Stephanie, and informed me that she needed to be taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Barrow to be cleared.

Stephaine was re-secured in handcuffs, which were checked for fit and double-locked. She was assisted to her feet and escorted back to my patrol vehicle, where she was secured in my patrol vehicle with a seat belt.

Once at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Barrow, Stephaine was escorted to Emergency Room, where she was assessed by Medical Professionals and cleared for the Barrow County Detention Center. After she was cleared, Stephaine was re-secured in handcuffs, which were checked for fit and double-locked, placed in my patrol vehicle, and seat belted in.

Stephanie was transported back to the Barrow County Detention without incident and relinquished into the custody of the jail deputies. Prior to leaving the facility, I checked the rear of my patrol vehicle and did not locate any contraband.

I have obtained the following warrant on Stephaine Sharp:
Battery – Family Violence (O.C.G.A 16.5.1 (f)(2)(A)) due to Stephaine admitting on WG BC #2409 to shoving her sister, [VICTIM #1], causing her to fall to the ground. During the argument, Stephaine scratched [VICTIM #1] on the right side of her face, cutting her, and causing it to bleed.

Stephaine Sharp also has warrants out of Griffin P.D. for Failure to Appear for Theft by Shoplifting and Contempt of Court.
