On Friday January 27, 2023 at approximately 1039 hours I was dispatched to Holt’s Pharmacy 406 Grassdale road in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon arrival I made contact with the complainant Mrs. [VICTIM #1] who stated a female driving a white Toyota Tundra with Georgia license plate number [REDACTED] was stopped at the stop sign and backed the pickup in to the front of her vehicle.

Mrs. [VICTIM #1] stated the female exited her vehicle and advised her she just paid her rent and did not have time for this and left the scene of the accident. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] stated she was able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle and identified it as [REDACTED]. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] stated she observed the vehicle the female was operating leaving the area of Grassdale Suits before she got behind the vehicle.

I made contact with the officer manager of Grassdale Suits Mrs. [WITNESS #1]. I asked Mrs. [WITNESS #1] if a female in a white truck recently came into the business to make a payment. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] stated a female did enter to start renting apartment [REDACTED]. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] provided the paperwork completed by the resident, and identified the female as Mrs. Heather Grover. I asked Mrs. [WITNESS #1] if she obtains license plate number for residents, and she advised she did.

Mrs. [WITNESS #1] had a license plate number for the vehicle Mrs. Grover had. The license plate number was Georgia license plate number [REDACTED]. I collected the information, and completed the accident report with the information obtained.

On Saturday January 28, 2023 at approximately 0855 hours I arrived at Grassdale Suits [1400 BLOCK] Joe Frank Harris Pkwy room [REDACTED] to attempt to locate Mrs. Grover. I made contact with Mrs. Grover, and asked her if she knew the reason behind the encounter. Mrs. Grover stated she did not know the reason. I advised Mrs. Grover she was observed driving the white pickup truck out side of her room after paying rent at the leasing office. Before I could advise her of the hit and run accident Mrs. Grover made a spontaneous utterance stating she was driving but did not hit and run another vehicle.

Mrs. Grover stated the female was too close to the rear of her vehicle, and she had to back up where she was advised by the other driver Mrs. [VICTIM #1] her vehicle was struck by Mrs. Grover. Mrs. Grover continued to advise she did not commit a hit and run and that she advised the other driver she would be leaving the scene. Due to Mrs. Grover’s spontaneous utterance and the evidence collected from Mrs. [WITNESS #1], and Mrs. [VICTIM #1] Mrs. Grover was placed under arrest and transported to the Cartersville Police department where she was booked in and processed through the city.

Mrs. Grover was not able to make bond. Mrs. Grover was issued citations for suspended drivers license, and hit and run. Mrs. Grover was released from the City of Cartersville custody and transported to the Bartow County jail to be housed until she is able to bond out.
