On Saturday, November 6th, 2021, at approximately 2356 hours, I was dispatched to [10 BLOCK] Pathfinder Street in reference to a Prowler in progress. The caller, Complainant, stated to dispatch that an unknown white female was banging on the side of her house and then got into a black truck in front of the house. Upon arrival I made contact with Ms. Kalie Chambers and [WITNESS #1], in a Chevrolet Silverado in front of the residence.
Ms. Chambers stated that she was looking for a male with the last name of Dover. Ms. Chambers stated that she thought that he lived at this residence. Ms. Chambers was asked consent for a search of the vehicle, but refused. I asked Ms. Chambers and [WITNESS #1] to step out of the vehicle. When Ms. Chambers exited the vehicle Cpl. Huberty observed a spoon with a crystal like residue.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located multiple bags containing a crystal residue, cut straws with residue, scales with residue, syringes, and a glass container with a crystal like substance inside. All items found in the vehicle with the exception of one scale, was found inside a purse in the passenger floor board. Ms. Chambers was sitting on the passenger side of the vehicle, upon my arrival. Ms. Chambers was placed under arrest by hand cuffs behind the back. Handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked for safety.
Ms. Chambers was read her Miranda rights, and stated she understood her rights and did wish to speak with officers at this time. Ms. Chambers stated that the purse did belong to her, but the drug related items inside did not. Ms. Chambers stated that one of her friends had just overdosed on Grassdale Road, and the drug related items were placed in her purse before officers arrived on scene.
Ms. Chambers handed me a glass pipe with residue while in the back of my patrol vehicle. Ms. Chambers stated to me that she had this pipe hidden inside of her vagina. Ms. Chambers stated that she uses Meth and Heroine, but that the drug related items in question should contain Methamphetamine residue. [WITNESS #1] was released from scene. Ms. Chambers was transported to Bartow County Jail by Cpl. Huberty, where she was left in their custody. I obtained warrants for Ms. Chambers for possession of Methamphetamine and drug related objects. The incident was recorded on my BWC and dash camera. On call DTF was notified. Nothing further.
