On Monday, November 1st, 2021, at approximately 2131 hours, while patrolling the area of [400 BLOCK] Grassdale Road(Citgo), I observed [WITNESS #1] yelling at Ms. Savannah Shoaf in the parking lot of the Citgo. [WITNESS #1] continued to yell at Ms. Shoaf as they entered the gas station. Inside the gas station I made contact with [WITNESS #1] and Ms. Shoaf.

[WITNESS #1] stated that he was upset with Ms. Shoaf, because someone had told him she was cheating on him on this date. [WITNESS #1] stated that nothing physical had occurred on this date. [WITNESS #1] and Ms. Shoaf were known to previously use Methamphetamine. [WITNESS #1] stated that him and Ms. Shoaf had just gotten out of rehab, but was sweating and seemed very nervous.

Ms. Shoaf was ran through GCIC and found to have active warrants for Probation Violation through Bartow County and Floyd County. Both warrants were confirmed to be active and valid through Cartersville Dispatch. Ms. Shoaf was placed under arrest by handcuffs behind the back. Handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked for safety. [WITNESS #1] and his back pack were searched but were negative of contraband. Inside another bag, that Ms. Shoaf stated belonged to her, a metal box was located.

Inside the box was a syringe, a spoon with residue, and a bottle cap with a crystal like substance inside. The crystal like substance in the syringe was field tested on scene, and the test turned dark blue indicating the presence of Methamphetamine. Ms. Shoaf was transported to Bartow County Jail, where she was left in their custody. My issued marked vehicle was searched at the start of shift, before and after each transport and was negative of contraband. The incident was recorded on my BWC and dash camera. Nothing further.
