Richmond Hill, GA – The numbers are in and the citizens and businesses of Richmond Hill REALLY came through!

According to EOM Director of Municipal Operations, Charles Heino, EOM Operations transported 8,920 pounds from the City of Richmond Hill to Savannah Aviation for delivery to the Bahamas.

These supplies are intended to help those in the Bahamas that were devastated by the recent Hurricane Dorian. Damage estimates appear to be in the Billions.

The Richmond Hill Community Facebook group held a fundraiser to contribute supplies towards the city’s efforts. With help from the group’s members, they raised over $1,500 in just 10 days. These funds were used to purchase first aid items, infant and adult diapers, and feminine products.

Three businesses donated at least $200 each. We would like to express our special thanks to Chance & Taylor Hair Studio, Inland Security Services, and Coastal Construction & Remodeling.

We’d also like to say thank you to the following citizens and businesses for their extremely generous donations, none of this would have been made possible without them:
