On December 22nd, 2022 I was dispatched to [400 BLOCK] Barge Tallapoosa Road in Waco in reference to a domestic dispute between ex boyfriend and girlfriend.
Upon arrival I observed a black Nissan truck sitting in the driveway. When I walked up to the passenger side I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated her ex boyfriend, Jeremy Blake Brown and her had gotten into a verbal argument this morning because she did not want him at the house anymore.
At this time [VICTIM #1] told me that two days ago on 12-20-2022 Jeremy then pushed her, choked her with his hands and had her on the floor with his knees on her chest. [VICTIM #1] was asked why she didn’t call 911 at the time this happened on that date and she advised me that it always makes everything so much worse with him when she calls 911.
[VICTIM #1] told me this morning when Jeremy woke up he walked into where she was at in the house and asked why she was there and they began arguing again. Once [VICTIM #1] called 911 Jeremy left the residence on foot walking up the dirt road.
[VICTIM #1] also told me in the past she had gotten a TPO against Jeremy but she does’t know exactly what happened with it due to him still being around. [VICTIM #1] stated Jeremy has lived with her for a little over a year but recently he just comes and goes but this time she wanted him gone for good.
[VICTIM #1] was given information about how to go about getting the eviction for Jeremy as well as getting a TPO against him. Once I completed gathering information I obtained photos of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries to have them added to this report. When I finished speaking with [VICTIM #1], myself and Deputy Cox searched the area for Jeremy but did not locate him anywhere.
