I responded to a Domestic call at [300 BLOCK] Chevis Rd.
Upon my arrival, I spoke with the reporting party, [VICTIM #1], who advised the following; His granddaughter, Ashley Anderson, had come over to stay with him for a few days. Today, he told her to leave and she became upset. She threatened to hurt him and then slapped him in the face. He is also missing two black semi automatic pistols from his truck. He believes she stole them and hid them somewhere. She normally carries a bag around with her but she hid the bag somewhere. He did not see her take them.
He did not have the make, model, or serial numbers for the missing firearms. He was provided with my email and advised he would contact me when he found the paperwork.
I spoke with a witness, [WITNESS #1], who advised that she saw Ashley Anderson slap [VICTIM #1] after threatening to hurt him.
Ashley Anderson was not a current resident of this location but had previously lived with [VICTIM #1]. Ashley Anderson did not want to speak with officers after her initial statement. See Supplemental from A.P.O. Riedinger.
I did not observe any marks on [VICTIM #1].
Ashley Anderson was charged with Simple Battery DVA. Ashley Anderson was banned from the property at [VICTIM #1]’s request. A Lethality Form was completed.
