On 5/23/2022 at 2236hrs I was dispatched to [70 BLOCK] Pintail Dr in reference to a Dispute.

Upon arrival I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was sitting in her car due to the fact she was concerned about what her husband Sean Merriwether might do. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that Sean had not been taking his medication and became irate. She advised that Sean told her he was going to slit her throat. She advised that Sean pulled his pocket knife out but did not open it or approach her with it. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also advised that her daughter [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also heard Sean make this statement. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she doesn’t know what to do but she doesn’t want us to get a call to come out to her house on day and be laying on the floor dead.

I then entered the residence and spoke With Sean. He advised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left a pot on the stove while the stove was on and walked outside. Sean advised that he thought she was trying to burn the house down with him in it. Sean refused to go to the hospital to have his Mental status evaluated.

This is the second time I responded to [70 BLOCK] Pintail Dr within a week for a similar incident with Sean Merriwether. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED] both filled out an official statement form. Sean was arrested for Simple Assault FVA and transported to Coweta County Jail.
