Ramada Inn manager resigns, arrested for theft

WARNER ROBINS – Officers responded to the Ramada Inn located at 2024 Watson Blvd in response to a report of a manager who quit, but refused to turn in the hotel’s keys.

Police questioned the former manager, Rodney Eugene Fuentes-Hernandez, who denied taking any keys. Upon further investigation, they were located in Fuentes-Hernandez’s groin area.

Before leaving the scene, employees with the Ramada Inn informed the officers that more keys were missing. Fuentes-Hernandez again denied having them.

Upon looking through the window of Fuentes-Hernandez’s vehicle in the parking lot, the missing keys were sitting in a box on the passenger’s seat, in clear view from the outside.

At first, Fuentes-Hernandez told officer’s they were his keys, but ultimately confessed to them being the hotel’s.

Fuentes-Hernandez was arrested at the scene for theft by taking.

Fuentes-Hernandez is also being investigated for stealing thousands of dollars in cash and other valuables from the hotel, charges have yet to be filed in that case.
