On August 12, 2022, I was dispatched to an assault that occurred The Texaco Food Mart located at 139 E Crogan St.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with the victim in front of the store, standing on the sidewalk. The victim stated that she had walked into the store and observed a black male that reminded her of someone she knew in the past. As the victim looked at the male, an unknown black female with a ponytail asked her “what the fu*k”. The victim stated that the female began to get mouthy with her inside the store.

The victim further stated that once she was outside the store, sitting in her vehicle the unknown black female suspect approached and spit into her car, hitting her. The victim stated that as she exited her vehicle, female suspect began to hit her then knocked her to the ground. The hit from the female suspect caused a small knot on her head, above her right eye. When the victim was knocked to the ground, she sustained a small visible scratch to her right leg just below her knee.

The victim stated that the female suspect repeatedly attempted to open her car door. As the female suspect was attempting to open the victim’s car door the male suspect stated to the female suspect that she better not damage her car because he didn’t want the victim to retaliate and damage his vehicle. The victim further stated that at some point the male suspect pulled out a small black handgun and made a comment about shooting her in the head, as he pointed the firearm at the victim. The victim stated that at that point she was scared and just wanted to leave the area, before coming back to incident location to meet with the police. The victim stated that both suspects got into a small white four door passenger car and left incident location.

Suspects were described as follows:

Female, black with a ponytail, 501-502, 115-120 Ibs
Male, black, dark skinned with short dreads and an unknown tattoo under left eye, 602

When the clerk of the store was asked about the incident, he confirmed the two females got into an argument so he asked them to step outside, as he was busy. The clerk advised that he did not have access to the stores video camera system. Pictures if victims injuries were taken, placed on a CD and placed into evidence for further investigation.
