Officer’s Narrative:

On August 14th, 2022 at approximately 2240 hrs I, Ofc. Lowry, was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Oscar Ct., in reference to a domestic. Myself and other units had already been out to this residence previously in the shift and the two parties were encouraged to remain separated (CS#: 2022-10346). When I arrived on scene, I met with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. I also met with Ms. Michelle Warren.

[VICTIM #1] stated that our earlier recommendation did not do any good for the situation. He then proceeded to show me a video taken after officers had left the scene of the initial call. In the video, you can hear [VICTIM #1] and Michelle arguing. The video then shows Michelle get mad at [VICTIM #1] for something he said and she then attempts to strike [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] then goes to tell Michelle to swing at him again because he was going to call the police.

I asked Michelle about the video and she attempted to deceive me by saying the video was from an older date. However, when was on scene during the initial call, I observed a busted black picture frame in front of the front door of the residence, and that same picture frame is shown in the video. Michelle is also wearing the exact same clothes in the video as she was during the initial call. I had [VICTIM #1] send me a copy of the video, which I will attach to this report in pistol as evidence.

Michelle then went on to say that she had tried to separate from [VICTIM #1], but stated that he had come into her room and antagonized her. When she got up to tell him to get out of the room, he grabbed her necklace and broke it. She was not harmed, and had no marks on her. She did show me a necklace that appeared to be broken in her hand. There were no witnesses on scene, to confirm whether this had taken place.

I placed Michelle in custody for Simple Assault (FV) and transported her to headquarters for processing. I will be seeking warrants against her for the above mentioned charge at a later date.
