On 12/26/2022 at 1657 hours, I, Officer Lowery, responded to [400 BLOCK] Scarbrough in reference to a domestic.

Upon arrival I made contact with victim [VICTIM #1] who stated that she was joking with her son, Telly McCoy, about his facial hair when he got upset and pulled a gun on her. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not fear for her life and did not want to persue charges.

I spoke to Telly who admitted that he did pull a gun on his mother. He explained that she was verbally “pushing” him and would not leave him alone. They were both in his bedroom and he grabbed the loaded 9mm off his bed and pointed it at her to get her away from him. Due to family violence, Telly was placed under arrest, cuffs double locked and checked for tension. Telly stated that gun was placed back on his bed after pointing it at his mother.

I attempted to locate the firearm with negative results. Warrants will be obtained for Aggravated Assault-FV.
