On Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at 2132 hours, I was dispatched to a domestic in progress call located at [100 BLOCK] Hendry Lane, Walthourville, Liberty County, Georgia, 31333. Upon arrival, I noticed a woman exiting the residence’s front door screaming.
I spoke with the complainant, Mrs. [VICTIM #1] who stated that she was in her room sleeping when she was awakened by someone in the residence because her daughter, Ms. Whitney Bacon was fighting her granddaughter [VICTIM #2]. She mentioned that she then entered the bedroom of Ms. [VICTIM #2] where she tried to separate the two however while doing so, she was not successful.
She said that’s when her husband Mr. [VICTIM #3] came into the bedroom and broke up the fight, so Ms. Whitney Bacon then started to leave the residence while doing so she open hand smacked Ms. [VICTIM #1] causing her to drop her phone which was up to her ear. Ms. [VICTIM #1] then told Ms. Whitney Bacon not to come back into the residence.
Ms. Whitney Bacon then started to hit Mr. [VICTIM #3] while at the door, so he held her to prevent her from continuing to hit him. Ms. [VICTIM #1] then presented to me marks on her left cheek where her face was red from being struck by Ms. Whitney Bacon.
I then spoke with Ms. [VICTIM #2], Ms. Whitney Bacon’s daughter, who mentioned that she was in the living room making her baby sister’s bed when she made a comment about the water being on the floor to Ms. Whitney Bacon. She said that’s when Ms. Whitney Bacon told her to shut up and then she told Ms. Whitney Bacon to shut the f*ck up.
Ms. [VICTIM #2] said that’s when she proceeded to go into her room where she was followed by Ms. Whitney Bacon. She said as Ms. Whitney Bacon was entering the room, she started to hit her with a towel and told her, “I don’t know who you think you telling to shut the f*ck up.” Ms. [VICTIM #2] then told Ms. Whitney Bacon to leave her room and she responded with, “Make me leave your room.” Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated that’s when she attempted to force Ms. Whitney Bacon out of her room and that’s when Ms. Whitney Bacon swung and hit her and that’s when they started fighting.
Ms. [VICTIM #2] mentioned that while she and Ms. Whitney Bacon were fighting, she was bitten by Ms. Whitney Bacon. Ms. [VICTIM #2] presented me with marks on her left arm where she was bitten by Ms. Whitney Bacon. While looking at her arm I noticed Ms. [VICTIM #2]’s belly button was bleeding and she mentioned she was not sure how it happened.
I exited the residence and attempted to speak with Ms. Whiteney Bacon who was standing outside with Deputy Sampson and Deputy Henning from the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department. As I asked Ms. Whitney Bacon for her side of the story, she then started to walk away going behind the residence of the address stated above. I told Ms. Whitney Bacon to not continue to the back of the residence, but she continued.
Deputy Henning, Deputy Sampson, and I then followed Ms. Whitney Bacon to the rear of the residence and while following her she turned around and hit me in the face with a “Screwdriver” beverage can. She was then taken down to the ground where she was handcuffed, checked for fit, double-locked searched and placed in the transport compartment of my unit that was checked for contraband beforehand and none was found.
I then transported her to the Liberty County Jail, where she is pending arraignment for the listed charges. The transport compartment was again checked for contraband, and none was found.
