On 11/15/22 at 0134 hours I, Deputy J Holmes and Deputy D Wright responded to [500 BLOCK] Richmond Hill Rd W [REDACTED] in reference to a home invasion.
Upon arrival we spoke to the listed victim, [VICTIM #1], who stated that she was asleep when she heard her door get forced open. [VICTIM #1] stated that she got out pf bed to see what was going on and she was met outside of her room by a black man holding what looked like a handgun with another black male behind him.
[VICTIM #1] then stated that the unknown male asked her “where is at” and then stated “Give us the stuff.” [VICTIM #1] then stated that she was then grabbed by the throat and forced into the bathroom and told that if she came out he would kill her. [VICTIM #1] then stated that she listened and once she didn’t hear any movement she came out and called the RCSO.
[VICTIM #1] then stated that her daughter and listed victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was inside the residence at the time of the incident but she never left her bed when she heard the door being forced open. [VICTIM #1] then stated that the unknown black males ran out the door in an unknown location.
[VICTIM #1] stated that all what was missing was a blue Nike book bag from one of the back bedrooms. Investigator Brown (724) and Investigator Reese (702) arrived on scene and the case was handed over to CID. [VICTIM #1] was given a case card and advised on the investigation process and how to obtain a copy of this report.
