On 10/07/2020, at approximately 722 hours, I, Officer Johnson, responded at [300 block] Paige St, in reference to a domestic dispute that involved [VICTIM #1] and her boyfriend, Edy Euceda-gutierrez. While en route, dispatch advised both parties were now separated.

Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] explained last night, Edy logged into her facebook and sent a male friend a friend request. [VICTIM #1] said Edy then handed her back the phone and accused her of cheating and called her a “fuc*ing whore”.

[VICTIM #1] said things calmed down for the night, and they went to bed on good terms.

[VICTIM #1] stated this morning, Edy became angry again about what occurred last night. [VICTIM #1] said Edy was upset and decided a try to slash the car tire that they both owned. [WITNESS #1], the daughter of [VICTIM #1], then recorded the incident on the phone.

[VICTIM #1] then advised that Edy tried to get the keys from [VICTIM #1] to leave. [VICTIM #1] stated that Edy then pushed her. [VICTIM #1] said that she also had the proof on [WITNESS #1]’ s cell phone. [VICTIM #1] then showed me the video. In the video, I observed Edy extend his arm and push [VICTIM #1] in an attempt to get the keys away from her.

Officer Bethune ran Edy’s name through dispatch and was founded that he had an active warrant through the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.

I then made Contact with Edy. Edy stated the same story as [VICTIM #1] but said he did not push her. With the help of Officer Bethune, I place handcuffs on Edy and double locked them. I then escorted Edy to my patrol car, where I searched him and secured him with the seat belt. Edy advised he is a U.S. citizen.

I transported Edy to the Whitfield County jail, where custody was exchanged. At the jail, I served Edy his warrant for destruction of transfer of property subject to security interest WA# w20-1214. I then charged Edy with simple Battery FV. 16-5-23(f) on WA62717.

No further actions were taken.
