DALTON – The following incident report was filed by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office regarding the arrest of Samantha Lilian Human, 30, on August 4 on a charge of aggravated assault.

Begin Transcription of Narrative Report
On August 4, 2020 at approximately 2115 hours Deputy Centel was dispatched to [2700 block] Dot Crescent Dr. in reference to a disturbance in progress. Deputy Center made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] at the residence and they provided the following information.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated Samantha Human came into a bedroom holding a knife in a stabbing motion while saying “I will kill everyone” while Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. [VICTIM #2] were in that bedroom. Ms. [VICTIM #1] said the bedroom they were in belonged to Mr. [VICTIM #2] and herself.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] said she tried to get the knife but was unable to get it and Ms. Human fled from the residence with the knife. Ms. [VICTIM #1] then stated she locked the doors to the house and called 9-1-1.
Ms. Human was found with a knife in her hand at the intersection of Underwood Rd and Bethel Church Rd by Lieutenant O’Mahony.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised Deputy Center this was not the first time an incident like this has happened involving Ms. Human threatening herself or others with a knife. Deputy Center was able to verify this by looking at the past call history at this residence.
Ms. [VICTIM #1] told Deputy Center Ms. Human had lived at the residence for approximately two months. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did not provoke Ms. Human prior to this incident in any manner for Ms. Human to perform these actions in act of self defense
Ms. Human was placed under arrest. Ms. Human was evaluated by EMS and refused to go to the hospital.
Ms. Human was then transported to the Whitfield County Jail and charged with O.C.G.A. 16-5-21 Aggravated Assault under the family violence act.
