[NARRATIVE #1 on August 26, 2023]

On 08/26/2023, Lt. Gibson responded to [2000 BLOCK] Bowers Rd in reference to a domestic disturbance that had occurred. When he arrived, he spoke with Mr. [VICTIM #1]. He stated Mrs. Deborah Holcomb, his wife, had struck him about the head several times. Mr. [VICTIM #1] explained that his Mrs. Holcomb had been acting strange while he and his children, Juvenile 1 and Juvenile 2, were there. Mr. [VICTIM #1] explained that Mrs. Holcomb was under the influence of drugs.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that approximately one hour prior to calling 911, he entered their bedroom where Mrs. Holcomb was located and asked her where a pack of cigarettes was located. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mrs. Holcomb was likely upset by one of the juveniles stating that he needed to get away from Mrs. Holcomb and her drug abuse before he gets into trouble and has to go back to prison.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated Mrs. Holcomb then attacked him while they were in the bedroom, striking him in the head several times. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated he began to back up into the hallway, and Mrs. Holcomb continued to strike him, scratch him, and rip his shirt off. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that both juveniles were in the living room, and could clearly see the altercation due to the hallway being short and leading directly to the bedroom.

Lt. Gibson could see swelling and bruising on the left side of Mr. [VICTIM #1]’s head, and he could see blood coming from a scratch mark on his left shoulder as well as blood coming from his left ear. Mr. [VICTIM #1] also made complaints about not being able to hear out of his left ear and stiffness in his neck. He stated he was pretty sure Mrs. Holcomb “busted” his ear drum, and he felt like she may have broke his neck.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mrs. Holcomb left the residence in a silver 2004 2-door Honda Accord with a faded bumper, and he had the children leave to stay somewhere else. Mr. [VICTIM #1] also stated that his phone does not have service and only works from WiFi, so he had no way to contact 911 until he finally tried to dial 911 and realized it went through.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised Lt. Gibson that Mrs. Holcomb would possibly be at a residence in the area of Lee Bryant Rd and Deep Springs Rd. Lt. Gibson checked the area, but he was unable to locate the vehicle Mr. [VICTIM #1] had described. Lt. Gibson did had dispatch give a BOLO (Be on the lookout) for the vehicle, and he advised that if contact was made, he would have charges for Mrs. Holcomb.

Lt. Gibson did take photographs of Mr. [VICTIM #1] and his injuries, and they will be uploaded to evidence.com.

Lt. Gibson will be seeking warrants for Mrs. Holcomb for 16-5-24 Aggravated Battery, Other Weapon and 16-5-70 Cruelty To Children, 3rd Degree.

[NARRATIVE #2 on September 09, 2023]

On 09/09/2023, at approximately 0130hrs, Lt. Gibson observed a silver passenger car in the driveway of [2000 BLOCK] Bowers Rd, believed to be Mrs. Holcomb’s vehicle. Lt. Gibson notified Deputy Hall, and he requested Deputy Hall’s assistance with serving the warrant.

After deputies arrived, Lt. Gibson knocked on the front door of the residence, announcing the deputies” presence. While waiting, Deputy Hall noticed a person inside the silver passenger car, a silver 2004 Honda Accord displaying Georgia tag [REDACTED]. The person was Mrs. Holcomb, and she was sitting in the driver’s seat on her phone.

Deputy Hall requested her to exit the vehicle. Lt. Gibson introduced himself, and he was able to identify Mrs. Holcomb. Lt. Gibson observed medical wrapping around Mrs. Holcomb’s right hand, wrist, and forearm, so Lt. Gibson asked what Mrs. Holcomb did to her hand. Mrs. Holcomb stated she was “wrestling” with her husband, Mr. [VICTIM #1], and she may have fractured her hand.

Lt. Gibson informed Mrs. Holcomb that she had a warrant for her arrest, and she would have to go to jail with Lt. Gibson. Mrs. Holcomb was cooperative, and due to the wrap on her arm, she was not placed in handcuffs.

Lt. Gibson transported Mrs. Holcomb to the Whitfield County Jail where she was served with Warrant # W23-1130 for 16-5-24(H) Aggravated Battery, Family Violence and 16-5-70(E) Cruelty To Children 3rd. Mrs. Holcomb was turned over to booking personnel without incident.
