On 3-15-23, I responded to [100 BLOCK] Old WIlliamsburg Road unit [REDACTED] in reference to an individual who was at the residence after previously being trespassed from the property.

Upon my arrival, I met with the complainant, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she did have her mother, later identified as Adjwona Ingram, trespassed but did allow her back into her residence about 3 days ago due to the cold weather. [VICTIM #1] also stated that her father recently came back home after being in the hospital.

I made contact with Adjwona who was inside the residence. I spoke to Adjwona about the situation and she said that [VICTIM #1] did not go and get her coffee and cigarettes this morning like she usually does. Adjwona stated, “she is the problem because she trying to sleep with my husband.” She stated multiple times that she is being harassed and stalked by different individuals and they wanted her at [VICTIM #1]’s house so they could hurt her. While speaking to Adjwona I advised her to leave for a while and to try coming back another day, during this time, Adjwona stated, “I ain’t going no where till she give me my $300 from social security”. Adjwona stated that social security knows [VICTIM #1] is taking her money.

[VICTIM #1]’s father, [REDACTED] who was sitting on the bed with Adjwona stated, “I just got out of the hospital and I don’t want her here.” Adjwona raised her voice and said again, “I’m not leaving.”

Adjwona was given multiple commands to gather her things and leave the residence due to [REDACTED] not wanting her there. I advised Adjwona that I would give her a ride if she needed one but she couldn’t stay there. Adjwona continued to sit there and ignore the commands given to her. At this time, I gave Adjwona one last chance to leave, she responded, “I don’t know.” I advised her that if she did not leave that she would be arrested. A couple of minutes passed and I attempted to grab Adjwona out of the bedroom and she responded, “I’m not going.”

I tried to gain control of Adjwona’s arm as she snatched away. I grabbed her arm again and was able to handcuff one wrist. She continued to resist arrest after I told her she was under arrest. Adjwona then complied and I was able to place her under arrest. While escorting her to my patrol vehicle, she threw herself to the ground stating her chest hurt and she needed EMS.

I advised Baldwin Dispatch that I need EMS for chest pains. While waiting for EMS to arrive, Adjwona asked for her wallet she left in the bedroom. Her wallet and bible were brought to her. I began checking her wallet and bible due to her wanting it to go with her. Inside her wallet, I located a small bag of a crystallized white substance. EMS arrived and took Adjwona to the hospital to be checked out. I advised Baldwin Dispatch to notify Navicent PD and ask them to notify the Sheriff’s Office when Adjwona had been medically cleared.

Baldwin Dispatch advised me at approximately 12:32 that Adjwona was ready to be released. I arrived at Navicent Baldwin to transport Adjwona to the jail. She was transported to the jail and turned over to the jail staff without incident.

Three state warrants were served on Adjwona for Possession of Methamphetamine, Criminal Trespass, and Obstruction of Officer.

The crystallized white substance was placed into evidence with a complete evidence/property form along with a GBI evidence submission form.
