On 05/17/2026, I responded to the area of Lata Terrace and Russell Drive in reference to a physical fight in the roadway.

Upon my arrival, I observed a large group of individuals in the roadway. I was able to locate two females involved in the fight, who were identified as Jayla Russell and Amerria Glenn. I first spoke with Jayla, who stated they were arguing in the roadway. Once asked if it turned physical, Jayla stated she ripped her wig off. Jayla stated Amerria spit on her.

Deputy Sides spoke with Amerria, who stated there has been an ongoing issue between the two subjects. Amerria stated she and Jayla started fighting and then other people began helping Jayla by hitting Amerria. I was not able to find any evidence of other parties involved in the altercation. Both Jayla and Amerria had scratch marks on their body and face.

Jayla Russell and Amerria Glenn were placed under arrest and placed in separate patrol vehicles. Both parties were transported to the Baldwin County Jail and turned over to Jail staff.

I will secure warrants for Affray on both Jayla and Amerria.
