[NARRATIVE #1 on November 07, 2022]

On Monday November 7, 2022, at 0946 hours, I was dispatched to Nathan Baugh Heating & Cooling at 2938 Heritage Place #B.

Upon arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated on today’s date, he noticed transactions being made on his account at Chambers Oil Company Inc at 600 Hammock Road from a card ending in [REDACTED] which had been assigned to Bethaney Shae Brown. [VICTIM #1] stated Brown had been terminated from his business on 07/08/2022. [VICTIM #1] stated when he realized that transactions were being made with that card ending in [REDACTED], he went to Chambers Oil Company Inc to verify who was using it.

[VICTIM #1] also stated he had issues getting his belongings back from Brown after she had been terminated. [VICTIM #1] stated he asked Brown to bring the work truck, uniforms, and gas card back to the shop. [VICTIM #1] stated Brown stated she would but in fact, never did. [VICTIM #1] stated he even had to go to Brown’s mother’s house to get his work truck back. [VICTIM #1] stated Brown was never given her last check due to her never returning her Cintas uniforms and gas card.

I then followed [VICTIM #1] to Chambers Oil Company Inc. Upon arrival, I then contacted [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] was able to provide surveillance showing Brown using the card as recently as 11/05/2022 to fill a White Volkswagen Jetta personal vehicle. [WITNESS #1] stated Brown now works with Wright’s Heating & Cooling and has a Chambers Oil Company card through Wright’s Heating & Cooling.

[WITNESS #1] was then also able to provide print outs of every timecard ending in [REDACTED] had been used in October 2022. The card was used multiple times during the month of October totaling $325.15. [WITNESS #1] stated she would need until 1400 hours to be able to go through her system and see every time the card was used and pull the surveillance video showing Brown using the card.

I advised [WITNESS #1] I would return between 1400 and 1500 hours to collect all the evidence she could provide. [WITNESS #1] also stated she disabled card ending in [REDACTED]. Contact was then made with Brown over the phone. Brown advised she was not in town but could stop by the Milledgeville Police Department on 11/08/2022 between 0900 and 1000 hours. Brown did state she no longer works at [VICTIM #1] and confirmed her social security number over the phone for me.

With the evidence presented for just month of October, a warrant for Financial Transaction Card Fraud has been secured for Brown. The final number of monies spent at Chambers Oil Company Inc will be determined once the rest of the evidence is collected. [VICTIM #1] was given a Victim’s Bill of Rights.

[NARRATIVE #2 on November 07, 2022]

At 1539 hours, I went back to Chambers Oil Company Inc to collect the evidence put together by [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] was able to go back to 07/11/2022 which is the first of 18 transactions made by Brown since her termination at Nathan Baugh Heating & Cooling using their gas card. [WITNESS #1] added all the transactions made by Brown totaling $870.71 between 07/11/2022-11/05/2022.

Surveillance footages were available as far back as 08/02/2022 until now of all the transactions made by Brown. [WITNESS #1] stated the surveillance is only available to be played through VS Player. The USB was collected along with the papers showing the transactions and a receipt totaling each transaction. The USB was entered into locker #8 for safe keeping.
