On October 18th, 2025, at approximately 2358 hours, while working Deep Roots near the intersection of South Wayne Street and East Hancock Street, I was flagged down by a male subject regarding a possible fight.
Upon contact with the male subject, later identified as Caleb Webb, he stated an older white male subject, wearing a white shirt had thrown beer on his shirt while standing in line at Ned Kelly’s, 119 South Wayne Street. Webb stated while standing in the line at Ned Kelly’s, he was accused of pushing a female subject. Webb stated the male, later identified as [VICTIM #1] begin to get confrontational with him and threw an alcoholic beverage on his shirt. Webb then stated [VICTIM #1] started making threats towards him. When asked, Webb stated [VICTIM #1] advised that “he was going to beat his a*s.”
Afterwards, I spoke with Officer Aaron Lewis and Officer Dawson Smith who stated that they spoke with [VICTIM #1], his wife, and daughter. Officer Lewis stated [VICTIM #1], heavily intoxicated, advised that Webb pushed his daughter, so he then confronted Webb about it. [VICTIM #1] stated they exchanged some words in which Webb punched [VICTIM #1] in the face, causing him to start bleeding.
Webb was placed under arrest due to [VICTIM #1] wishing to pursue charges. Webb was transported to the Baldwin County LEC without further incident. Warrants will be sworn for battery and disorderly conduct.
