On 07/03/2026, I responded to The Animal Hospital of Milledgeville, 2639 North Columbia Street, in reference to animal cruelty.
Upon arriving, I made contact with [WITNESS #1], who is the business owner and office manager at the above location. [WITNESS #1] stated on 06/29/2026 one of her employees arrived at work at approximately 0630-0700hrs in the morning and found a book bag in the front of the building. Inside the bag was a cat that had been sealed in the bag with the zipper. The cat was covered in urine and feces and was without water.
Upon looking at video footage, they found a possible silver Nissan truck occupied by a white male dropping off a bag in front of the office door at around 0500 that morning. The vehicle could be a Titan or a Frontier.
I was unable to locate the vehicle on Flock, however, I will forward the case to RTCC for additional help with the investigation. Pictures provided by [WITNESS #1] were uploaded into the Axon’s database.
