I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Badger Road in reference to a physical domestic between [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Upon arrival, I made contact with Danielle Mann and [REDACTED BY AGENCY], in the kitchen of the residence. I observed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sitting on the floor of the kitchen holding a belt in her hands. I advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to push the belt away from her and she complied.

I then made contact with Danielle. Danielle advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was suspended from school for two days. Danielle stated she went to address the issue with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who was disrespectful, calling Danielle a “dumb bit*h.” Danielle stated she grabbed a belt to whip her with, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] wouldn’t stay still. Danielle stated she was whipping [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with a belt when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] pushed her into a window. Danielle stated she then called 911 and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sat on the floor with the belt. I did not observe any visible injury to Danielle. I was able to observe a partially broken window in the front of the residence.

I then had Danielle step outside while I made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Danielle beat her with a belt, and then with an electrical cord. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Danielle was hitting her all over with the electrical cord, so she pushed her into the window. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Danielle beats her on a daily basis and this time she couldn’t take it anymore. I did observe red and raised marks on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that appeared to be from an electrical cord.

EMS personnel then arrived on scene. EMS personnel evaluated [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I then made contact with EMS personnel and EMS advised the injuries to her arms and legs appeared consistent with those being caused by an electrical cord. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was turned over to EMS and transported to Navicent Health Baldwin. EMS advised, due to the child abuse nature of the call, they would notify DFACS to make contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] at the hospital.

Photos of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s injuries were taken via Axon Capture and uploaded as evidence.

Danielle was taken into custody and transported to the jail with no further incident. One state warrant was obtained on Danielle Mann for cruelty to children in the first degree.
