On 07/14/2026, I responded to [REDACTED] in reference to a physical domestic dispute.
I made contact with the complainant, [WITNESS #1], who stated her twenty-one year old son, Jacobi Nixon, punched her twelve year old son, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [WITNESS #1] stated she was not on scene when this occurred, but her daughter, [VICTIM #1], and nephew, [WITNESS #2], were on scene during the incident. [VICTIM #1] called [WITNESS #1] to inform her of the incident after it occurred. [WITNESS #1] stated Jacobi and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were arguing about a phone charger. [WITNESS #1] stated she was told both individuals went outside, and Jacobi proceeded to make physical contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
I made contact with the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. He stated the two were arguing about a phone charger, then Jacobi slapped his glasses off of his face. He stated Jacobi proceeded to punch him and then he ended up on the ground. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] tried to call out for help; however, he stated Jacobi had grabbed his mouth.
I observed visible bruising to both sides of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s face. His upper and lower lips were busted and bleeding. There was blood on his shirt. I took photos of the visible injuries on [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s face as well as the blood on his shirt. The photos were uploaded via Axon Capture.
I made contact with a witness, [WITNESS #2]. He stated he was upstairs in the residence and heard bumping noises. He went downstairs and witnessed Jacobi on top of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and blood coming out of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s mouth.
Jacobi was not present at the residence at the time I was on scene. I was advised that Jacobi would be riding in a gray Nissan Altima with no center caps on any of the tires.
Around 1217 hours, [WITNESS #1] advised Jacobi came back to the residence. [WITNESS #1] stated Jacobi made suicidal threats.
I also made contact again with [VICTIM #1], who stated Jacobi held a gun to his head and then left the residence with the gun.
I secured one state warrant on Jacobi Nixon for Cruelty to Children 2nd Degree.
