[NARRATIVE #1 on January 21, 2023]
On 01/21/2023, while working multiple entering auto cases at [300 BLOCK] Log Cabin Rd (Villamar Apartments), I was reviewing surveillance footage received from residents in the area. From the camera at [REDACTED], I observed the listed offenders enter the victim’s vehicle in this case. I made contact with the victim, identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] checked her vehicle and stated that she does not keep valuables in her vehicle and does not notice anything missing, however someone had moved stuff around in her vehicle. Due to the offender’s entering the vehicle with the intent to commit a theft, I secured a state warrant on the listed offenders for Entering Auto.

[NARRATIVE #2 on January 21, 2023]
On 01/21/2023, I responded to [300 BLOCK] Log Cabin Rd Apt [REDACTED] in reference to an entering auto. Upon arrival, I made contact with the complainant, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated she saw on her camera where two people entered her son, [VICTIM #2]’ vehicle. I reviewed the camera footage and observed two male subjects entering the vehicle. [WITNESS #1] stated all she noticed missing so far was her son’s Oakley sunglasses. The camera footage was uploaded to evidence via Axon Capture. The offenders on camera had already been arrested by night shift in the commission of entering automobiles in the complex.
While looking over the vehicle, I observed several partial latent finger prints on the driver’s door. I made an attempt to lift the partial prints and placed them into evidence for analysis. The prints were photographed prior to my attempts to lift them. The photographs will be uploaded to evidence via Axon Capture. I will secure state warrants on the offender’s for Entering Auto – Felony.

[NARRATIVE #3 on January 21, 2023]
On 01/21/2023, at approximately 0917, I was out at [300 BLOCK] Log Cabin Road NE, Villamar Apartments, patrolling the area due to a spree of entering autos earlier in the morning.
While patrolling the area, I located a car with the front passenger side and rear passenger side doors partially open. The glove compartment in the vehicle was open, and it appeared someone had gone through the vehicle. I then went to apartment [REDACTED] to make contact with the owner of the vehicle, [VICTIM #3].
Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle and he was advised of the possible entering of his vehicle. [VICTIM #3] stated he did not leave his vehicle the way that I found it, but appeared that nothing was stolen. [VICTIM #3] stated he does leave his vehicle’s doors unlocked but nothing of value is ever kept in there.
Due to video evidence of multiple other vehicles being broken into by the offenders arrested on scene earlier in the morning, I will be securing one Entering Automobile – FELONY warrant, for both Kane Krieger and Landon Spivey for entering [VICTIM #3] vehicle. Landon and Kane were both arrested at Villamar earlier in the morning by the previous shift.

[NARRATIVE #5 on January 21, 2023]
On 01/21/2023, Deputy Wright was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Log Cabin Road in reference to entering auto. The caller advised she witnessed two males shatter the window to a white truck and enter another vehicle. The caller also stated the offenders were in a silver Honda with a loud muffler. Due to all the information provided by dispatch, all available deputies went to assist with the call.
Once I arrived to the area, I entered Villamar Apartments from GMC Road. I began searching the area, in attempt to look for the silver Honda or any persons involved. As I approached Building [REDACTED] near apartment [REDACTED], I observed a white male wearing a yellow hoodie, dark in color pants, and a black mask, only covering his mouth. Once Deputy Wright arrived to the my location, I exited my patrol vehicle to make contact with the male.
After exiting my patrol vehicle, the male took a few steps towards me, and I began speaking with him. After asking the male to take his hands out his pocket, he began fleeing on foot. I began chasing the male on foot for several yards. While chasing the male, I drew my taser and deployed both cartridges at the fleeing offender but was unsuccessful. While chasing the male, he removed a black firearm from his right jacket pocket, with an extended magazine.
As the male removed the firearm, I dropped my taser and drew my service weapon. While drawing my service weapon, the offender fell to the ground and dropped the firearm, causing it to slide across the pavement. I then placed the male under arrest for obstruction, while Deputy Wright assisted me with the arrest. After arresting the male, it was determined that two of the four taser probes attached to the offenders jacket, but did not penetrate the skin.
I later recovered the firearm the offender dropped and made it safe. The firearm was a black Glock 19 9×19 (serial# BWAW566) with a brown 30 round magazine. After making the firearm safe, I retrieved my taser and flashlight, and then identified the offender as Landon Spivey DOB [REDACTED]. I provided the firearm’s serial number to Baldwin County Dispatch who later informed me that the firearm had been reported stolen through Henry County Police Department on 12/27/2022.
Deputy Wright transported Spivey to the Baldwin County Jail, without incident, while I stayed on scene searching for the second suspect. While on scene searching for the second suspect, I muted my body worn camera and later activated it back.
While searching the area, Deputy Johnson informed us, via radio, that he possibly located the offender’s vehicle. Deputy Johnson also informed us that he was able to see suspected marijuana inside the vehicle, while looking through the window. Several minutes later, Deputy Johnson informed me that he located another offender hiding underneath a porch. Once I arrived to Deputy Johnson’s location, I assisted him with making the arrest (see case #202310839 for further). Deputy Johnson informed me that the male he arrested had keys on his person. It was later determined that the keys were in fact the ones belonging to the vehicle he located, which was a 2000 Honda Civic (GA tag#[REDACTED]).
I later searched the vehicle and located a camouflage shotgun in the truck of the vehicle. I provided dispatch the serial number to the shotgun. At the time, it had not been entered onto GCIC as stolen. Deputy Johnson informed me he read Miranda to the offender he arrested. I asked the male who the shotgun belonged to. The offender informed me that the shotgun belonged to the black male that was with them. The offender wasn’t able to provide a name for the male that was with them.
I called for a wrecker on a rotational list to transport the vehicle to the Baldwin County Sheriff Office Impound Lot, due to other items in the vehicle possibly being stolen. Old Capital Wrecker later arrived on scene and transported the vehicle to the impound lot, while Deputy Johnson followed.
