On October 9th, 2025, at approximately 2009 hours. I was dispatched to Walmart Super Center, 2592 North Columbia Street in reference to a theft.

Upon my arrival, I contacted Asset Protection Personnel, [WITNESS #1], who stated she had a female subject, later identified as Lindsey Irish, inside the store and approach the self-checkout point of sale (POS) #6 with various items inside of her shopping cart. [WITNESS #1] stated that she observed Irish scan the items at the register. [WITNESS #1] stated she then observed Irish use another ticket to scan a plush animal that did not match the price for what she was in possession of.

[WITNESS #1] stated she continued to observe Irish scan a curtain for two other curtains that did not match the price or the unique identity of each other. [WITNESS #1] stated Irish continued to scan items such as tumblers where the price weren’t the same, nor was the item the same as what was being scanned. [WITNESS #1] stated Irish then completed her transaction and failed to remove items that were stored inside of a trash can at the bottom of the shopping cart. [WITNESS #1] stated once Irish completed her transaction, she paid a total of $76.44 for the items instead of the actual price of $552.18.

[WITNESS #1] stated Irish then walked towards the General Merchandise area of the vestibule and exited. [WITNESS #1] stated she then made contact with Irish and identified herself as Asset Protection. [WITNESS #1] stated Irish told her that she paid for all the items however, Irish was asked to walk to the Asset Protection Office to discuss the matter further. [WITNESS #1] stated after further discussion, it was determined that Irish used labels for cheaper items and concealed labels on the items that she had in her possession.

Irish was placed under arrest without further incident. Irish was then transported to the Baldwin County LEC and charged with theft by shoplifting (felony). A warrant will be sworn. Additionally, Irish was served with a Notice of Prohibited Entry.
