On 1/4/2026 at 11:25am I was dispatched to 611 S Wayne St at the McDonalds regards to a fight that occurred between coworkers. Upon my arrival I spoke with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated he was trying-to break up a verbal dispute that had happened between [WITNESS #1] and another female employee. [VICTIM #1] stated during the incident the female coworker had called her boyfriend Marcus Mason to come help her.
[VICTIM #1] stated while trying to separate [WITNESS #1] and the other female coworker Marcus had pushed him. [VICTIM #1] stated he defended himself by throwing punches but was unable to land any strikes upon Marcus. [VICTIM #1] stated Marcus had scratched him in the face multiple times leaving significant marks and bit him on the left side of his chest leaving teeth indention marks with blood.
After speaking with [VICTIM #1], I spoke with [WITNESS #1] about the incident. [WITNESS #1] stated Marcus had pushed [VICTIM #1] and began to fight. [WITNESS #1] stated Marcus was the aggressor in the fight and [VICTIM #1] was only defending himself.
Marcus stated that he was trying to break up the verbal dispute between his girlfriend and [WITNESS #1]. Marcus stated while defending himself against [VICTIM #1] he wrestled him down to the ground in the hedges that were in the front side of McDonalds.
I asked [WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #1] if they were willing to write a witness statement, [WITNESS #1] stated she will, but [VICTIM #1] denied doing so.
Marcus was placed under arrest for Disorderly conduct and taken to the Baldwin County jail and was issued a citation.
