On 03/22/2026 at approximately 0125 hours, I was dispatched to the area of [300 BLOCK] North Tattnall Street, where I made contact with the complainant, [VICTIM #1], in reference to a male attempting to get into his residence.
[VICTIM #1] advise a white male wearing a blue muscle shirt, later identified as Nolan Sjogren, started beating on his door. [VICTIM #1] advised when he opened it Sjogren attempted to push past him into the residence. [VICTIM #1] stated he pleaded with Sjogren to leave his residence, and he attempted to close the door, but Sjogren’s foot was blocking the doorway. [VICTIM #1] advised he grabbed his gun and brandished it in Sjogren’s face, and pleaded with him further to leave his doorway, and he was only mumbling and muttering to himself. [VICTIM #1] advised eventually he had to strike Sjogren in his throat to get him to back up. While striking him, [VICTIM #1]’s arm struck the door frame, which slightly tore the skin and caused a large bruise. [VICTIM #1] did not wish to pursue charges on Sjogren for attempting entry into his residence.
Sjogren was found on the southside of [300 BLOCK] North Tattnall Street, laying on the ground. Sjogren was extremely intoxicated but advised he was here visiting his sister. Sjogren stated he knew where she lived, and officers escorted him next door to [300 BLOCK] North Tattnall Street, where we attempted contact at one of the apartments. Officers observed a package on the front door step, which did not belong to Sjogren’s sister, [REDACTED]. Officers were unable to find a safe place for Sjogren to go and placed him under arrest into double-locking handcuffs.
Sjogren was cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and minor of possession of alcohol. Sjogren was released to the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center without incident. A photo of [VICTIM #1]’s injury was uploaded to the report.
