[NARRATIVE #1 on January 23, 2026]
On January 23rd, 2026, at approximately 2344 hours, I responded to Barberitos, 148 West Hancock Street in reference to a verbal altercation.
While responding to the location, Officer Jordan Guy stated that there was a male, later identified as [VICTIM #1] and female, later identified as Shameka Renfroe actively arguing with each other.
Upon my arrival, Officer Guy was speaking with each of the subjects. Officer Guy advised them both to leave the area due to both subjects being irate and heavily intoxicated. As we were all about to leave the area, Renfroe became further irate and shoved [VICTIM #1] while in the presence of Officer Guy and I. Officer Alisha Thomas and Officer Guy grabbed Renfroe and later placed her under arrest. Officer Guy and I grabbed Renfroe and escorted her to my patrol vehicle due to her refusing to walk properly.
While placing Renfroe in the rear of my patrol vehicle, she begins to give Officer Guy a hard time by continuously placing her feet in the door, preventing Officer Guy to shut the door. After having to repeatedly lift Renfroe’s feet into the vehicle, Officer Guy managed to shut the door. Once the door shut, Renfroe begun to kick my window bars and plexi glass. I then upgraded my response to the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center.
While enroute to the jail, I continued to observe Renfroe. As I observed her, she started to choke herself with the seatbelt. I then notified Milledgeville PD Dispatch that Renfroe was attempting to choke herself out and I had to make an emergency stop to properly restrain her. I exited my patrol vehicle and went to open the rear door, where Renfroe had her feet propped up. I instructed her to lower her feet and attempted to position her properly. Renfroe then attempted to exit the patrol vehicle but could not due to the seat belt holding her inside. I advised Renfroe to get back in the vehicle numerous times. Renfroe yet refused continuously. I deployed my department issued taser and drive-stunned Renfroe where she finally complied. Renfroe also stated that if she went to jail, she would kill herself.
Eventually, I resumed transporting Renfroe to the jail with my emergency equipment activated. Upon my arrival, I advised Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Dixon regarding Renfroe’s behavior and her suicidal allegations. She was then turned over to the jail staff.
Renfroe was charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness. A Use of Force form was completed.

[NARRATIVE #2 on January 23, 2026]
On 01/23/2026 at approximately 2344 hours, I was in the area of Bass alley and observed subjects arguing by Barberitos, 148 West Hancock Street.
After arguing for a few minutes, I see an item get thrown, before two males engaged in a fight. Upon getting to the area, I observed [VICTIM #2] having [VICTIM #1] in a headlock.
Upon separating the two, [VICTIM #2] advised he was walking by on a phone call and observed [VICTIM #1]’s girl, Shameka Renfroe, yelling and cussing him out. [VICTIM #2] advised Renfroe began yelling at him, and he told [VICTIM #1] to “get your b*tch.” [VICTIM #2] advised Renfroe snatched his phone and threw it, before [VICTIM #1] picked it up placing it in his back pocket. [VICTIM #2] stated he attacked [VICTIM #1] to get his phone back. [VICTIM #2] did not wish to pursue the issue.
[VICTIM #1] initially denied taking the phone, but it was found in his back pocket and returned to [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #1] was advised to take Renfroe and leave. I advised both they had been drinking and not to drive, which upset Renfroe.
Renfroe became irate and was yelling and screaming at officers and [VICTIM #1]. She was placed under arrest and taken to Officer Jalen Webb’s patrol vehicle. There she refused to get into his rear seat, and I assisted her in getting in. She would not allow me to close the door by putting her feet on it and locking them in place. I removed her feet and secured her in the seat.
