On November 2, 2022, at approximately 0757, I responded to 1111 S Wayne Street in reference to a possible fight.
Upon arrival to the location, I encountered a male and female arguing. The male subject was identified as Thomas Lamar Grable. The female subject was identified as [VICTIM #1].
Contact was made with Grable who stated he was just talking to his wife [VICTIM #1] about an incident which occurred earlier in the day. Contact was made with [VICTIM #1] who stated the argument/fight was in reference to her calling BCSO earlier and wanting him removed from the location due to her finding out he has been talking to another woman.
[VICTIM #1] stated once BCSO departed from their residence, she left on foot towards the location listed above. [VICTIM #1] stated she then got in contact with her neighbor, unknown at this time, and they stated Grable left the residence via the rear door in rout to her. [VICTIM #1] stated after a few minutes at the location listed above, Grable made contact with her.
A witness, [WITNESS #1], stated she witnessed [VICTIM #1] sitting near the icebox when Grable approached [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated she then observed Grable chase [VICTIM #1] thru the property, grab [VICTIM #1] by the hair, throws her to the ground and starts hitting her. [WITNESS #1] stated she then told her co-worker to call 911.
EMS arrived on-scene to check [VICTIM #1] but was released due to [VICTIM #1] refusing transport. [VICTIM #1] was noted with a knot on her forehead area as well as a busted top lip. Video surveillance shows Grable chase [VICTIM #1] thru the property, throw [VICTIM #1] onto the ground, and kick [VICTIM #1] in the rib area. Due to Grable and [VICTIM #1] being in a relationship and having children together, Grable was placed under arrest and a warrant was obtained for Battery Family Violence OCGA 16-5-23.1. A witness statement form was completed by [WITNESS #1]. A copy of the video surveillance was obtained.
While in rout the BCLEC, Grable hit his forehead area multiple time on the plexiglass divider. No damage was noted to the patrol vehicle.
