I made contact with [VICTIM #1] at [100 BLOCK] Effingham Road in reference to Timothy Hatchett trespassing and attempting to bribe him.

[VICTIM #1] stated Timothy approached his residence on 04/18/2026, and attempted to speak to him in reference to an upcoming court date between the two for a criminal trespass case. [VICTIM #1] stated Timothy offered him $20 to drop the charges against him. [VICTIM #1] stated he did not speak to Timothy.

I went to [100 BLOCK] Azalea Circle to make contact with Timothy. Timothy started off initially stating he was not at [VICTIM #1]’s residence the morning in question. However, after further investigation, Timothy stated he was at [VICTIM #1]’s mothers house, [WITNESS #1], next door. Timothy stated he went to [WITNESS #1]’s residence to try and speak to her about getting [VICTIM #1] to drop the charges against him.

I returned to my vehicle and spoke to [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] corroborated this, but also stated Timothy did come to his yard and try and speak to him, which was witnessed by [WITNESS #1]. I made contact with [WITNESS #1] via 911 line. [WITNESS #1] stated Timothy went to [VICTIM #1]’s gate on two separate occasions that morning attempting to speak to him. [WITNESS #1] stated Timothy then came to her residence and spoke to [VICTIM #1] on her phone and attempted to bribe him with $20 to drop the case against him.

I made contact with Timothy again. Timothy changed his story to saying he was at the gate in [VICTIM #1]’s yard, but did not speak to him. Timothy stated he did not remember speaking to [VICTIM #1] on the phone, but also did not deny it.

There is an active stay away in place, signed by a judge on 04/11/2026, between Timothy and [VICTIM #1] as apart of Timothy’s bond conditions pending their court date.

Timothy was placed under arrest and transported to the jail. Timothy was turned over to the jail with a completed booking/arrest sheet. One state warrant for aggravated stalking was secured for Timothy.
