I was dispatched to [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic dispute that had already occurred at [REDACTED].

I made contact with [VICTIM #1] outside. [VICTIM #1] stated that while at home at [REDACTED], his wife, Victoria Pangia, slapped him in the face in the presence of their two children, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[VICTIM #1] stated that while he was in the shower, he saw his youngest child, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], outside the residence and unsupervised, through the window. [VICTIM #1] got out of the shower and went outside to retrieve [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [VICTIM #1] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was also in the middle of the road playing. [VICTIM #1] entered the house with the children. [VICTIM #1] and Victoria began arguing due to Victoria not watching the children while he showered. [VICTIM #1] stated he was upset because Victoria does not help him with the children and lays on the couch. During the argument, Victoria slapped [VICTIM #1] in the face with an open hand. I did not observe any markings on [VICTIM #1]’s face.

I went to [REDACTED] to make contact with Victoria. I asked Victoria to explain what happened between [VICTIM #1] and herself. Victoria admitted to slapping [VICTIM #1] in the face while the children were in the room. Victoria stated she was resting on the couch and knew [VICTIM #1] was in the shower, however, she did not know the children had made it outside. Victoria was upset and admitted it was wrong and that she should not have done it. I explained to Victoria that due to the children being present and her admitting to slapping [VICTIM #1], she would be placed under arrest.

Victoria was taken into custody and transported to the jail without incident.

The following three warrants will be secured for Victoria:

Simple Battery – Family Violence (M)
Cruelty to Children in the Third Degree (M)
Cruelty to Children in the Third Degree (M)
