On 01-06-2026 around 1207 PM, Deputy Forrester was dispatched to a domestic at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Bellamy Rd. On Deputy Forrester’s arrival he spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated her boyfriend (Donald Holm) has been physically abusive to her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donald and herself have been dating off and on since 2019 and have lived together with in those years.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated earlier this morning Donald left for work. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donlad return home not very long after leaving and was intoxicated. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donald began to verbally abuse her about a prior relationship she had. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she asked Donald to leave. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Donald refused to leave and made a physical threat to “beat” [REDACTED BY AGENCY] face in.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated Donald chased her where he pushed her against the wall and window located in the foyer near the front door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donald grabbed the collar of her shirt with both hands and began to choke her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she could not breath and believed Donald was going to kill her.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she had a monster energy drink that she utilized as a weapon to hit Donald so he would stop choking her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Donald then released her and she dialed 911. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated her call dropped and it would not allow her to answer when 911 called back. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then went to a neighbor’s house until Donald left. (911 never advised S.O of the 911 hang up but was confirmed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] called around 1000 hours this date).

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then returned home once Donald left again. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Donald continued texting her and calling nonstop. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised locking the doors to prevent Donald from returning home and going inside to abuse her again.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised around 1200 hours Donald returned home and began attempting to ring the doorbell nonstop. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she told Donald to leave through the door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Donald then began punching the front glass on the door stating he would break the glass.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she was in fear of her safety when Donald began punching the glass. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Donald she would be calling 911. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then advised Donald that the police were on the way. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donald then got into his vehicle and left. She advised Donald has been calling her phone nonstop again.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] filled out a witness statement form. Deputy Forrester took picture on axon capture of the damaged blind from where Donald held [REDACTED BY AGENCY] during the strangulation. Deputy Forrester also took pictures of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck (no visible injuries other than mild redness to the lower parts of her neck). Deputy Forrester also captured a photo of blood located on the front door where Donald had punched the glass.

Donald called [REDACTED BY AGENCY] several times while Deputy Forrester was on scene. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] aswered a phone call to see if Donald would give a location for Deputies to find him. Donald cursed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and sounded very intoxicated due to his speech slurring. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Donald only becomes abusive when he drinks.

Deputy Forrester then began to check the area where he passed Donald’s vehicle (2018 Toyota Tacoma) on Yonah Homer Rd near the county line. Deputy Forrester turned around to stop Donald. Donald pulled off the road near Pless Dr. Deputy Forrester then activated his emergency blue light and pulled in behind Donald.

Deputy Forrester asked Donald to step out of the vehicle. Donald held a folded piece of paper out the window. Deputy Forrester then asked Donald once again to step out of the vehicle. Donald complied with Deputy Forrester’s commands. Donald then walked to the back of his vehicle.

Deputy Forrester smelled a heavy odor of alcoholic beverages coming from Donlad’s breath. Deputy Forrester also noticed Donald had blood shot eyes also associated with impairment. Deputy Forrester then asked Donald about the domestic. Donald denied talking about it.

Deputy Forrester then asked Donald how many drinks he had today. Donald advised none. Donald then requested a lawyer. Donald was slurring his speech and was not willing to answer any of Deputy Forrester’s questions. Donald was then placed under arrest.

Cpl. Barber arrived on scene during the arrest. Cpl. Barber advised multiple open containers where visible in the front area of the vehicle. Cpl. Barber conducted a probable cause search for more open containers. Cpl. Barber located several cold alcoholic beverages that had been opened and drank and a couple of Jack Daniel shots. Pictures were taken of the open containers.

Cpl. Baber also located non-prescription Alprazolam (Xanax). The pills were shaped like bars and had no visible markings. Cpl. Baber advised the pills were in the center console. Nine and half pills were counted. Curt’s Towing arrived on scene and took possession of the vehicle. A vehicle impound form was completed.

Deputy Forrester then read implied consent (21+) to Donald where he refused a state administered chemical test. Donald was placed into double locked handcuffs behind his back, hand-cuffs were checked for fitment. Donald was searched incident to arrest. Due to Donald’s level of intoxication Deputy Forrester did not reach over him to apply a seatbelt.

Donald was then transported to the Banks County Jail where he was turned over to jail personnel. The rear seat of Deputy Forrester’s patrol vehicle was searched before and after transport and was found to be free of contraband.

Donald was bleeding from his hand from where he punched the door at Bellamy Rd. Donald also had blood on his pants. A picture was taken of Donald’s pants. Donald was not cooperative when Deputy Forrester attempted to take pictures of him. All pictures were uploaded to Axon capture. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] written statement was placed into original documents. The controlled substance was placed into evidence locker #2 and was submitted for GBI testing.
