[NARRATIVE #1 on May 15, 2026]

On May 15, 2026 at approximately 03:21 hours, I, Deputy Franks with banks County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Cranes Mobile Home Dr in reference to a domestic dispute. With further investigation, warrants taken and a report made.

While en route to the above address, the caller stated the offender, later identified as Lamar Mcnair was beating up his girlfriend, later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Once on scene, Deputy Franks and other deputies made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] inside the residence. Additionally, her mother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her step-father arrived on scene. Deputy Franks observed that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was visibly scared due to her only speaking at a low volume and did’t want to tell deputies much information due to Mcnair possibly coming back to the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she was on the phone with a female who Mcnair had previously had sexual relations with. Mcnair did not like this and became angry with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and placed his arm around her neck in a choke-hold style and began to squeeze. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then lost consciousness and fell to the floor. Once she woke up, she reached for her phone to whick Mcnair stepped on her hand to prevent her from getting her phone.

Mcnair took his foot off her hand and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got her phone back. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then walked outside to call [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. While she was outside, she heard her child began screaming. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ran back to the house and discovered the doors were lock. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] continued to try to get inside and eventually was successful and discovered that Mcnair had struck their 3 year old child and placed his hands on his neck that left red marks. During this time, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had called 911. Once Deputies arrived on scene, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Mcnair grabbed a pair of shoes and ran out the back of the house in an unknown direction after he was deputies.

Deputy Franks deployed Canine Kobe and attempted to cast Canine Kobe toi establish a track to track Mcnair. Canine Kobe began pulling in the direction away from the house and towards an open field. At the same time Deputy Franks and Canine Kobe was tracking, CPL Craymer deployed the drone to increase the chances of locating Mcnair. Canine Kobe and Deputy Franks tracked for approximately 1 mile but did not have contact with Mcnair. Additionally, CPL Craymer did not located Mcnair via the drone. The track was called off and Deputy Franks returned back to the residence.

Criminal Investigation Division (CID) was notified and responded to the residence.

Deputies remained on scene with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to ensure her safety. Additionally, Mcnair was actively texting her and trying to convince her to not say anything that had happened and for her to make deputies leave so he can come home.

K9 Deputy Presley and Canine Becka was contacted and responded to the scene to assist in locating Mcnair. Once on scene, Canine Becka was deployed and Deputy Franks and CPL Craymer assisted in following. Canine Becka tracked for approximately 2.5 to 3 miles with negative contact. The track was called off and deputies returned to the residence. CID provided living assistance to Deputy Franks body camera on and recorde.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 15, 2026]

On May 15, 2026 I, Cpl. Barber, repsonded to [100 BLOCK] Cranes Mobile Home Dr in reference to a warrant service.

Inv. Walker witnessed a tahoe pull into the resience and seen Lamar Mcnair exit the back door. Dep. Frey and myself responded and located Lamar hiding behind some bushes behind the residence. Lamar was placed into handcuffs that were checked for fit and double locked. Lamar was then seatbelted into the rear of my vehicle. While en route to the jail, Lamar flipped his handcuffs from the rear to the front. The back seat of my vehicle was searched before and after Lamar’s transport
