On 02/25/2026 I, Deputy Lunsford was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Waterworks Rd in Commerce Ga to meet with Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies in reference to an assault at occurred in Banks County. An arrest was made.

On scene Deputy Lunsford met with CPL Roach with the Jackson County Sheriffs Office. CPL Roach explained to Deputy Lunsford that there was an argument between parties while they were driving down dirt roads drinking that lead to and argument because one the driving parties put the vehicle into a ditch. This caused another party to pull a knife out and threating the other parties in the vehicle.

CPL Roach stated that the knife that he pulled off of the offender was identified by one of the victims of the knife the offender was holding and pointing at then while he was making threats. The knife is a blue pocketknife with Korshaw written on the blade.

Due to where then incident occurred Deputies had to discuss and determine the jurisdiction the incident happened in. After talking with Dispatch, it was determined that the incident took place inside Banks County on E County Line Rd. Once jurisdiction was established Deputy Lunsford began to talk to all parties about the incident.

Deputy Lunsford first met with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is the first victim and asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what happened. The victim stated that Nicholas Saige Williamson who was later identified as the offender had been drinking that evening. The victim stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was driving the offender, the offender [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the offender [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on dirt roads.

The victim stated they were on E County Line Rd and the offender got upset and did not want to go down it so the victim stopped the car. This is when the offender got out of the car came around to the driver side of the vehicle and pulled the victim out of the car. The offender then got into the driver seat of the vehicle and began to drive the vehicle.

The offender then stops the vehicle and the victim started driving again and the offender was in the passenger seat. This is when the offender pulled out a knife and pointed it at the victim along with the other tow passengers in the car and threatened to slit their throats and everyone’s throats at there house.

The victim also stated the offender pointed the knife at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] rib cage. Deputy Lunsford showed the victim the knife that CPL Roach had retrieved off of the offender and they victim stated that was the knife. Deputy Lunsford asked the victim if this placed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in fear of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] life and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated yes.

The victim then also stated that when the offender got back into the car, he hit the windshield causing it to break. This is when Deputy Lunsford met [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the owner of the vehicle that was damaged.

Deputy Lunsford asked if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] wanted to press charges and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated yes because this is the second vehicle the offender had damaged that belonged to [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Deputy Lunsford asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] how much it would cost to fix the damage. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] first stated that it would cost $400 as an estimate but would look up a price. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] later told Deputy Lunsford it would be $260 to fix the windshield.

Deputy Lunsford looked at the windshield of the car and could see a crack on the driver side windshield. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left in the vehicle there was no damage to the windshield and when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got home it was cracked.

The mother of the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked that if any contact is to be made when her [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in regard to the incident if they would contact her first at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] due to her [REDACTED BY AGENCY] having a learning disability.

Deputy Lunsford then went and met with the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the offender [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and asked what happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that were driving around and were on E County Line Rd when the offender got upset and wanted to leave. This is when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] tried to back the car up and hit a curb. This caused the offender to get upset.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the offender then pulled a knife on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] pointed at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and stated, “I’ll kill you”. The offender then pointed the knife at [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and stated, “I’ll kill you”.

Deputy Lunsford asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if this placed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in fear for [REDACTED BY AGENCY] life. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated it made [REDACTED BY AGENCY] scared and made [REDACTED BY AGENCY] feel like the offender was going to do something. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that while they were driving back to the house the offender was making comments on how he was going to stab everyone there.

Based off of the information gather by testimonial and physical evidence Deputy Lunsford asked dispatch to start a second unit. Once Cpl Craymer arrived on scene Deputy Lunsford discussed what information he had gathered. Deputies decided there was enough probable cause to make and arrest.

Deputies then walked over to the Jackson County Patrol vehicle the offender was in. The offender was in the back seat asleep. Due to his leave of intoxication, it took Deputies a second to wake the offender up.

One the offender was awake Deputies asked him to step out of the vehicle. The offender had to have assistance getting out of the vehicle due to his leave of intoxication. Once out of the vehicle the offender was placed into handcuffs by Cpl Craymer, checked for fit, and double locked. Cpl Craymer then transported the offender to the Banks County Jail where he was handed over to jail staff.

Deputy Lunsford met with the third individual in the vehicle was identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Deputy Lunsford asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that they were driving around and drinking. At some point the offender for mad and stated arguing with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] over them getting stuck in a ditch. During the argument the offender pulled out a knife and said he was going to cut people. This including [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

Deputy Lunsford took pictures of the damage to the vehicle and the knife via axon capture and uploaded them under the case number. The knife was packaged into evidence and placed into evidence locker number ten with a property receipt. The victims were provided with a case number for the report and given instructions on how to obtain it.

Warrant will be obtained on the offender for Aggravated Assault FVA and Terroristic Threats and Acts FVA for his actions against [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats and Acts for his actions against [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Criminal Trespass for the damage to the windshield, and Possession of a Firearm or Knife During the Commission of a Felony.

Deputy Lunsford received a statement from CPL Roach with the Jackson County Sheriffs Office. This was placed into original documents.
