On April 14, 2023, Inv. Bales received a phone call from the complainant that [WITNESS #1] called her regarding two victims. [WITNESS #1] told the complainant that she went through her other cousin’s cell phone and found messages of a sexual nature between her other cousin and the offender.

While interviewing [WITNESS #1], she stated that the vicitm would no longer come to her house so this morning she called the victim’s mom, [WITNESS #2], and asked her why she wouldn’t come over anymore. [WITNESS #1] stated [WITNESS #2] told her it was because the offender had touched the victim on her vag*na. Inv. Bales called and spoke with [WITNESS #2] who stated the incident happened over a year ago in Banks County.

Inv. Bales will schedule a forensic interview for the victim.
