On 12/17/2025 at approximately 0535 hours, Deputies responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Highway 51 N in reference to Suspicious Activity.

Upon arrival, Deputies were already on scene speaking with the victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Deputies gathered testimony from the victim and advised Cpl Langston what had occurred.

Cpl Langston spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated her and the offender (Troy) got into a verbal argument where Troy accused [REDACTED BY AGENCY] of sleeping with his adult son. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Troy made her go outside and held her at gunpoint while looking for people that wasn’t there. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated at approximately 0230 this date, they got into an MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) in front of the residence that GSP worked due to them arguing. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that later on at approximetly 0520 hours, They were inside the residence when Troy took his revolver pistol and pistol whipped her in the head. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then ran out of the house and to the neighbors across the street. The neighbor located [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the back porch where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] asked her to call law enforcement.

Cpl Langston observed a knot on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] head, just inside her hairline that appeared to be bruised, consistent with the story [REDACTED BY AGENCY] provided.

Deputies relocated to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Highway 51 N to locate Troy. After knocking on the back door of the residence, Troy came outside and spoke with deputies stated the two did get into an argument and were involved in an MVA, but denied physically touching [REDACTED BY AGENCY] No firearm was located on Troy. Cpl Langston placed Troy in handcuffs behind his back. The handcuffs were checked for fit and double locked. Deputy Frey placed Troy in the back seat of his patrol vehicle and seat belted for safety. Deputy Frey transported Troy to the Banks County Detention Center and was released to jail staff without incident.
