On On Monday, December 1st, 2025, at approximately 2249 hours, I, Ofc. Perry #149 was dispatched to a Domestic Dispute at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Winder, Ga 30680. I traveled CODE 1 to the location listed above in my marked patrol vehicle #428.
Upon arrival, I met with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who told me that her boyfriend, Mr. Alan Galgoci, had strangled her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that Alan had arrived at the residence around 1700 hours that day. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me she has a Temporary Protection Order against Alan but invited him over anyway. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she and Alan had eating dinner and were just relaxing at home.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then said she went upstairs to take a shower and, when she got out, found that Alan had gone through her cell phone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that Alan had seen in her Snapchat notifications that someone had “hearted’ one of her pictures that she had posted. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then said to me that Alan became incredibly irate at her and accused her of cheating on him.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that she then isolated herself and went into the bedroom to lie down. Alan then came inside the bedroom and placed his hands around her neck, squeezing her. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that she was unable to breathe during the time that he had his hands around her neck. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stood up, got her gun box, and hit Alan alongside the head with it.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then told Alan he needed to leave the residence and that he was not to return. I looked at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck, and there were two red marks on the side of her neck, but no visible bruises. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that Alan drives a 2001 or 2002 black Ford Explorer; she was unable to provide the tag number for the vehicle [REDACTED BY AGENCY] agreed to fill out a Winder Police Department Statement form. While [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was completing this, I returned to my patrol vehicle to gather more information on Alan and his whereabouts.
Alan’s local jacket listed his address as [2000 BLOCK] Blackberry Circle, Auburn, GA 30011. I had Barrow County Central Dispatch have Auburn units go out to the residence to attempt to make contact with Alan. I then returned to the residence and gave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] a card with the case number, a Peace Place pamphlet, and a list of victim services. I then left the scene and stood by, awaiting whether Auburn was able to make contact.
Auburn Police Department came across the radio and told me that they had found Alan asleep in the black Ford Explorer and had placed him under arrest. I then traveled to [1000 BLOCK] Atlanta Highway, Auburn, GA 30011, to relinquish custody of Alan to them. Auburn units arrived with Alan and removed their handcuffs from him.
I then placed Alan in double-locked, properly fitted handcuffs and advised him that he was being placed under arrest for Simple Assault, Family Violence, Simple Battery, Family Violence, and Violation of a Family Violence Order, and Aggravated Assault Family Violence. I searched Alan for any drugs, weapons, or means of escape, and none were found. Alan was then placed in the back seat of my patrol vehicle, and a lap and shoulder belt was secured across his lap. I then transported Alan to 652 Barrow Park Drive, Winder, Ga 30680 (Barrow County Detention Center).
Upon arrival, I relinquished custody of Alan and his belongings to the Barrow County Intake Deputies. I completed all intake forms and completed a victim notification form. I then returned to service with no
further issues.
Photos of the injuries were taken and will be attached to this report.
Winder Police Department Witness Statement Form will be attached to this report.
The backseat of my patrol vehicle was cleared before and after each time Alan was placed in and taken out.
