On Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at approximately 2232 hours, I, Ofc. Perry #149 was dispatched to [30 BLOCK] Village Court Apartment [REDACTED], Winder Ga 30680, in reference to a dispute. I traveled CODE 1 to the location listed above in my marked patrol vehicle #428.
Upon arrival, I met Ms. [WITNESS #1] and Mr. [WITNESS #2], who told me that their son, Mr. Christopher Jackson, had been drinking most of the day and had been “acting up” the past few days. [WITNESS #1] advised me that when she called 9-1-1, Christopher had already left the residence. [WITNESS #1] told me that Christopher was heavily intoxicated and was hitting the washer and dryer before he ran away.
Having worked previous calls at this residence, I was familiar with Christopher and the way he acts when he drinks heavily. I previously trespassed Christopher from this address, but when I asked [WITNESS #1] whether he had shown up or had been invited, she told me that she had picked Christopher up from jail a few days prior and was allowing him to stay at the residence.
When I walked outside the house, [WITNESS #1]’s neighbor, Mrs. [WITNESS #3], was outside and waved me down. [WITNESS #3] told me that over the last few days, Christopher’s behavior had been disrupting her time at home, and she was concerned about his behavior. [WITNESS #3] told me they could hear each time Christopher yelled and argued, and that they heard the entire incident this evening.
I searched the surrounding area to see if I could find Christopher, but was unsuccessful. [WITNESS #1] told me that before Christopher left the house, he had told her he was “going to the trees.” Knowing the grass path behind Goodwill, I moved to that area to see if I could find Christopher. I searched the area, and as I was about to leave, I heard multiple sticks crack in the woods, and I heard a person groan and make noise.
A perimeter was set up, and Sgt. Scott #807 from the Auburn Police Department arrived at the scene to use his K9 to help track Christopher. See his report for further information. The K9 tracked Christopher to the back of [30 BLOCK] Piedmont Drive and located him underneath the back patio. Due to Christopher not announcing himself underneath the patio, he was bitten by a dog on the left shoulder.
Christopher was placed in properly fitted double-lock handcuffs, and his person was searched for any drugs, weapons, or means of escape, and none were found. Christopher smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage, and his speech was incredibly slurred, while escorting Christopher to the front of Ofc. Simmons #164 patrol vehicle, he began calling me “a b*tch.”
A medical unit was called to the scene to evaluate Christopher and advised him that he would need to go to the hospital. Ofc. Simmons #164 escorted Christopher to 316 North Broad Street, Winder Ga 30680 (North East Georgia Medical Center-Barrow). Christopher was medically cleared and Ofc. Simmons #164 escorted him to 652 Barrow Park Drive, Winder Ga 30680 (Barrow County Detention Center).
I later went to the Barrow County Detention Center to leave Christopher with nine citations: WC91644 Disorderly conduct, WC91645 Obstruction, WC91646 Obstruction, WC91647 Obstruction, WC91648 Obstruction, WC91649 Disturbing the Peace, WC91650 Public Drunk, WC91651 Disorderly House, and WC91652 Cursing, abusing an officer making an arrest. I then returned to service with no further issues.
