[NARRATIVE #1 on January 11, 2026]
on January 11, 2026, at approximately 2011 hours, I was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Winder, GA, 30680 in reference to a domestic dispute in progress. Barrow County Dispatch advised they could hear a male yelling in the background. Dispatch advised that the female Caller disconnected the line but called back, saying that she needed help. I responded Code 3 to the scene in a marked patrol vehicle (Emergency Lights and Siren).
Upon my arrival, I observed a black passenger car in the driveway. I approached the car with caution and confirmed that the occupant in the vehicle was the caller. She was identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also had her juvenile-aged children in the vehicle with her. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if anyone else was inside the house, and she stated that her boyfriend, Jonathan Ingram, was the only person inside. She advised that he was actively breaking things inside the house. As additional officers arrived at the scene, we approached the carport entrance and observed a white male inside shouting and pacing back and forth within the kitchen. We announced ourselves as law enforcement and identified the male subject as Jonathan Ingram.
I gave a verbal command to Mr. Ingram to come outside towards us, but he failed to comply and began shouting at [REDACTED] and using profane language. We gave him additional verbal commands to come outside, and Mr. Ingram ran away from the window and disappeared from our line of sight. Due to safety concerns, we held our position of cover until more backup arrived. Soon after, we conducted a protective sweep of the house and discovered that Mr. Ingram had fled the scene on foot. Sgt. Wolfe advised me that he observed blood stains near the sliding exterior door that was left ajar. We determined that the suspect left through this doorway. Assisting units set up a perimeter and attempted to locate the suspect while I spoke to the caller.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she had just gotten home around 2000 hours when a verbal dispute happened. She stated that Mr. Ingram got angry with her when she started mentioning bills. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also questioned Mr. Ingram about the marijuana she found and how much he had been drinking that evening. She stated that Mr. Ingram got directly in her face and began shouting using profane language while their infant child, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] juvenile-aged [REDACTED BY AGENCY], were present, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] attested that Mr. Ingram had been holding their child initially while she was getting settled in the home, but she stated that she took the baby away from him when she noticed him aggressively shaking the baby in his hands. She stated that Mr. Ingram continued shouting and cursing at her and repeatedly stepping into her face in an aggressive manner.
She stated that Mr. Ingram eventually punched her in the face with his right fist. She stated that his punch was so strong that he managed to hit her in the cheek and also struck their infant in the back of the head. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] attested that the baby was crying profusely after the strike to the head. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised that she told Mr. Ingram to stop because he was hurting their child. She stated that he then pushed her while she had the child in her arms.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to grab her kids and went outside to the car. She stated that as she exited the house, Mr. Ingram punched the exterior door and broke the glass. I determined that Mr. Ingram injured his hand, which created the blood stains that were discovered earlier. I took a picture of the broken glass and noticed shards of glass on the concrete floor of the carport.
I observed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her child for visible marks or bruises with negative results. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] about the puffiness that I noticed around her cheeks, but she advised that it was normal. I also observed a red skin discoloration on her daughter, but I was also advised that the occurrence was normal. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she felt any symptoms from the punch, and she advised me that she was unsure due to her adrenaline. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] provided a written statement about the incident.
Based on the evidence at the scene and the statement provided by [REDACTED BY AGENCY], I determined that Jonathan Gene Ingram was the main aggressor during this domestic dispute. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not request medical treatment for herself or the child at the time of the call. I monitored both victims and did not see any signs or indications of critical injury while at the scene. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was also able to calm and console her infant child. The damage from the side door was estimated to cost $500 to repair.
I was advised by assisting officers that the K-9 track was called off after negative contact with the suspect. I provided the victim with contact information for the resources available to her and her children. I provided a business card containing our agency’s phone number and a case number to call to report additional information about the case and to receive information about the case. My Watch Guard body camera was worn and activated.
I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she knew where Mr. Ingram may have fled to, and she advised that he had a friend named “[REDACTED]” who lived in Statham. She believed that [REDACTED] would be the person he called to pick him up. She advised that Jonathan and [REDACTED] work together at Palletworks (2238 Atlanta Hwy SE, Statham, GA, 30666). [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was unable to provide any other information at that time. Note: The suspect and victim have lived at the [REDACTED BY AGENCY] residence for over two years with the children.
I procured warrants against Mr. Jonathan Gene Ingram for the following charges:
- Simple Battery (Family Violence) – Warrant No. 2026-0102MW
- Disorderly Conduct – Warrant No. 2026-0103MW
- Simple Assault (Family Violence) – Warrant No. 2026-0104MW
- Criminal Trespass (Family Violence) – Warrant No. 2026-0105MW
- Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree – Warrant No. 2026-0106MW
- Reckless Conduct – Warrant No. 2026-0107MW
- Obstruction – Warrant No. 2026-0108MW OFC. Bruce #137

[NARRATIVE #2 on January 12, 2026]
On 01/12/2026 at approximately 0918 hours, I, Officer Tello #138, and Sergeant Hill #165 were dispatched to the Winder Police Department (25 E Midland Ave. Winder, GA 30680). The call was about a man by the name of Jonathan Ingram who was waiting in the lobby and knew that he had a warrant out for his arrest. We arrived at the Winder Police Department CODE 1 in patrol vehicle #459.
We walked into the lobby area and met with two subjects who were waiting in the lobby. I had asked the man on the left for his full name and date of birth. He stated that his name was Jonathan Gene Ingram and his date of birth is [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1991. With this confirmation, I asked dispatch for confirmation of the warrants out for him and then I detained Mr. Ingram. I asked him to place his hands behind his back and placed my department issued handcuffs on him, checking for fit and double-locking them. I also conducted a pat-down for weapons, only finding a vape on his person. The vape was given to the subject that was with Mr. Ingram.
Dispatch was able to confirm the warrants, so he was then placed under arrest. I conducted a search incident to arrest for weapons, contraband, and means of escape with a negative result. Afterwards, I placed Mr. Ingram in the back of patrol vehicle #459 and I secured him with the seatbelt over his shoulder and his lap. Mr. Ingram had asked what warrants were out for him, so I informed him and the second subject that he had warrants for Simple Battery- FV, Simple Assault- FV, Criminal Trespass-FV, Cruelty to Children in the 3rd degree- FV, Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Conduct, and Obstruction. The other subject said that he would inform Mr. Ingram’s family of the warrants against him
I then transported Mr. Ingram to the Barrow County Detention Center (652 Barrow Park Dr. Winder, GA 30680). He was released to the intake officers.
I searched the back seat of the patrol vehicle before and after transport for contraband with negative results.
