On October 23rd, 2021, at approximately 0024 hours I was patrolling the area of Kilcrease Road and Ethridge Drive. I saw a vehicle bearing Georgia plate [REDACTED] cross the center line. I activated my emergency lights to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle.

I approached the drivers side of the vehicle and made contact with the driver Logan Collins. Logan handed me a Michigan Drivers License I asked if he had a Georgia Drivers License he stated that he did not. When I ran his information in the computer it came back with a suspended drivers license in Georgia for DUI First offense. I had dispatch run Logans name through GCIC to confirm what I was seeing on my screen. Dispatch confirmed that Logan had a suspended Georgia License and a warrant for his arrest out of Lawrenceville Police Department and Auburn Police Department.

I then advised Logan that he was under arrest for Driving while license suspended, Failure to maintain lane, and his two outstanding warrants.

I then secured him in double locked handcuffs behind his back that were checked for proper fit. Prior to securing him in the back seat of my patrol car a search of his person was conducted for weapons or contraband and nothing was found.

I then transported him to the Barrow County Detention Center where I served him with two citations and turned him over to the deputies on duty. Prior to exiting the Detention Center a search of the back seat of my patrol car was conducted for weapons or contraband and nothing was found.
