On Saturday March 4, 2023, at approximately 1202 hours, Corporal Wolf and I went to do a warrant attempt at [100 BLOCK] Georgia Ave Apt. [REDACTED] Winder, GA 30680 for Mr. Mark Hardy. I responded to the scene CODE 1.

On arrival I made contact with the current resident who stated Mr. Hardy is criminally trespassed from the property per the landlord. The resident then advised Mr. Hardy is known to stay at [80 BLOCK] Martin Luther Kind Jr Drive Winder, GA 30680. Corporal Wolf and I changed locations to this address.

Upon arrival at [80 BLOCK] Martin Luther King Jr Drive Winder, GA 30680, Corporal Wolf went to the front door, I went to the back door. Three individuals were outside at a vehicle, I identified Mr. Hardy. Mr. Hardy was then placed into handcuffs behind his back, double locked, and checked for proper fit. Mr. Hardy was detained while dispatch was advised to confirm warrants on Mr. Hardy. Dispatch confirmed warrants and advised to place a hold on Mr. Hardy.

Mr. Hardy was told he was under arrest and the warrants are confirmed. Mr. Hardy was searched incident to on site arrest for any drugs, weapons, contraband, or means of escape, none were found. Mr. Hardy was then placed in to the searched and cleared back seat of my marked patrol vehicle 382 and seat belted in for safety. Mr. Hardy was then transported to Barrow County Detention Center. Mr. Hardy was then turned over to Barrow County Jail Deputies.

Felony Probation Warrants were signed at Barrow County Detention Center.

Mr. Hardy was being booked in to Barrow County Detention Center. Jail Deputies were searching Mr. Hardy. Upon further search of Mr. Hardy, Mr. Hardy had a small bag tied in to a knot inside his sock on the inside part of his shoe. The bag was then opened, the bag contained a white rock/powder like substance. Mr. Hardy is a active user of methamphetmines. Mr. Hardy was charged with crossing the guard line with narcotics, a warrant was taken out on Mr. Hardy for this charge.

Warrant: 2023-0763FW 42-5-15 Crossing Guard Lines With Weapon/Drugs/Intoxicants

Warrant was signed and brought to Barrow County Detention Center.

The evidence was brought back to Winder Police Department. The substance weighed out to approximately 1 gram. The evidence was placed in to Temp Locker 009.

LERMS receipt was completed and attached with report and evidence.

Property receipt was completed and attached with report and evidence.

GBI submission form was unable to be completed due to the website being down. Corporal Wolf and myself tried numerous times to login and were unable to login. Email was sent to Evidence Tech [REDACTED].
