[NARRATIVE #1]

On 11/6/2021 at 0455 hours, I was dispatched to a domestic dispute at [200 BLOCK] Pierce Rd. I responded code 1.

On arrival, I was met by [VICTIM #1] who stated that his girlfriend, identified as Nina Moon, had looked at the Instagram on his phone and accused him of talking to other women. [VICTIM #1] stated that he wanted her to leave.

There was a seven-year-old male, identified as J1 running around in the yard. I asked [VICTIM #1] if it was physical, but he stated that it was verbal and he did not want Nina getting into trouble.

I went inside the house to speak to Nina and she stated that [VICTIM #1] had pushed her, threw frozen food on the floor, and broke a bathroom mirror.

I returned to [VICTIM #1] who had a cut on his hand. He admitted breaking the mirror, but stated that it was his. He stated that Nina had thrown the food on the floor. He showed me a cut on his nose caused by Nina. I detained [VICTIM #1].

Sgt. Bradley told me that J1 had witnessed the altercation and had told him what had happened.

I spoke to J1 who stated that the argument was over the phone. He stated that Nina had slapped [VICTIM #1] and pushed him against a cabinet causing the cut on his nose. He stated that [VICTIM #1] broke the mirror, but that Nina had thrown the frozen food into the floor.

I released [VICTIM #1] and placed Nina under arrest. I placed her in handcuffs behind her back. I checked for fit and double-locked them. I looked her over for weapons and observed none. I placed Nina in the rear seat of my patrol car.

I photographed the damage and injuries and attached these to the report.

I gave [VICTIM #1] a family violence packet.

I transported Nina to the Barrow County detention center where I am taking warrants for battery (OCGA 16-5-23.1) and cruelty to children, third degree (OCGA 16-5-70. She had an outstanding warrant from Walton County and a hold was placed on her.

[NARRATIVE #2]

On November 6, 2021, at 0507 hours, I responded “Code 1” to [200 BLOCK] Pierce Road in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arriving I saw Deputy Wright talking to a male, [VICTIM #1], in the driveway.

I went to the residence and spoke to a female, Nina Moon. I saw a bunch of frozen food on the floor in the kitchen. Nina initially advised she was never physical with the male. She advised, [VICTIM #1] grabbed her hair and punched a mirror. Ms. Moon showed me the mirror that was broken. She advised the argument started because she picked up [VICTIM #1]’s phone. Nina spoke very fast and was not able to give a clear story.

Later, Ms. Moon’s juvenile son came out of a bedroom. She asked him several questions about what happened. The juvenile ended up telling what happened. He advised that they ([VICTIM #1] and Ms. Moon) were arguing because his mom found a picture of a girl on his phone. He advised that Ms. Moon slapped [VICTIM #1] in the face and pushed him into the stove/cabinets. He advised that [VICTIM #1] fell on a plastic bag while walking to the bathroom. He advised that [VICTIM #1] went to the bathroom and broke a mirror. He advised that his mom threw all the food on the floor.

I told Deputy Wright what the juvenile told me. I asked the juvenile to tell Deputy Wright what happened, he did.

Deputy Wright arrested Ms. Moon. [VICTIM #1] advised Deputy Wright that he would watch the juvenile, Ms. Moon agreed that that was fine. I assisted Deputy Wright with the rest of his investigation.
