On February 6th, 2026, I responded to domestic dispute at [700 BLOCK] Evergreen Dr. I responded “code 1”

Once I arrived, I saw a crying female swinging a hammer near a truck with a person inside the truck. I approached the house telling the female to put the hammer down. The female went inside the garage door and tossed the hammer. The female then walked to the end of the driveway with me saying I don’t know, no English.

I used the language line to help assist with translating, the female identified herself as Silia Karely Lopez Pinto. I asked Silia what had happened and why she was swinging the hammer. Silia stated that she didn’t use the hammer. Silia said she had thrown two stones at [VICTIM #1], hitting him in the back of the head and on his arm. Silia stated she has been arguing with [VICTIM #1].

I spoke with [VICTIM #1], who had tears in his eyes, while still using the language line, who stated that Silia had hit him with stones on the back of his head and on his arm while he was holding their young son. Sgt Johnson felt the knot on the back of his head; I saw the knot on and slight bruising and redness on his left arm. [VICTIM #1] stated they had been arguing. [VICTIM #1] stated he asked Silia if the child was his. At this time, I placed Silia under arrest. Silia is not pregnant and has not recently given birth. I placed her in handcuffs with her hands behind her back. I checked for fitness and doubled locked. I searched for the Silia incident to arrest checking for weapons and contraband, finding none.

Silia was placed in the back seat of my patrol car and transported to Barrow County Detention Center.

The back seat was checked before and after for weapons and contraband finding none.

Warrants were secured against Silia for the following.

Silia committed aggravated assault with stone a deadly an object, which, when used offensively against a person, is likely to or results in serious bodily injury. Silia committed this offense when she threw a stone striking [VICTIM #1] in the back of the head. Silia and [VICTIM #1] are parents of the same child living in same household.

Battery FV when Silia intentionally causing substantial visible bodily harm to [VICTIM #1] by throwing a stone, which resulted in light redness and bruising on left arm. Silia and [VICTIM #1] are parents of the same child living together.
