[NARRATIVE #1 on October 30, 2025]
On October 30, 2025, at approximately 2022 hours, I responded code one, non-emergency to [500 BLOCK] Providence Circle for a Domestic Disturbance.
Upon my arrival, I met [VICTIM #1], the victim and [REDACTED], the caller. [VICTIM #1] stated that she and her boyfriend of approximately 5 months, William Motes, had been in a verbal argument about William taking her phone and taking nude photos of her and posting them onto Snapchat, a social media platform.
Tonight, upon the testimony and physical evidence shown by [VICTIM #1], it was established that William had taken [VICTIM #1]’s phone while she was in the shower. [VICTIM #1] figured that William was going through her phone to try to find her being unfaithful. [VICTIM #1] then realized that William not only went through her phone but had taken an explicit photo of [VICTIM #1] while she was unaware, nude and in the shower. [VICTIM #1] stated that she only found out because multiple friends on her Snapchat messaged her about the photo. [VICTIM #1] requested that William be removed from the property. I then explained to [VICTIM #1] that we could not legally force him to leave and that she would have to follow the legal eviction process if she did not want William to live there anymore.
[VICTIM #1] stated that she had prior knowledge of the photo being taken on Williams’ phone. [VICTIM #1] noted that William had sent the nude photo to her phone and then uploaded it to Snapchat and also mentioned another possibility of William sending nude pictures from [VICTIM #1]’s phone to his phone. [VICTIM #1] further claimed that on Williams’ phone, there are other naked photos of her that she did not consent to him taking or possessing. [VICTIM #1] also claimed that on William’s phone, there would be a video of her stating that she did not want William to take nude photos of her.
I then walked onto the porch, where William was sitting, smoking a cigarette. I asked William what was going on tonight. William stated that he had no idea why we were there and assumed he had a probation warrant. William further noted that he and [VICTIM #1] had been arguing earlier about the nude photo taken. William claimed that [VICTIM #1] was planning on meeting up with multiple men later for sexual acts.
After a brief investigation, it was determined that [VICTIM #1] had prior knowledge of the photo that was posted to her Snapchat story. She stated that William had taken the photo previously and that he was the only person who had ever possessed that photo of her. She noted the photo had somehow gotten onto her phone while William had it, and posted it to her story as she did not have possession of the photo at the time it was posted. [VICTIM #1] stated that she would not delete the photo and the post until “something was done about this.” William was then placed in handcuffs in a standing position. The handcuffs were checked for a proper fit and double-locked. William was then escorted to the rear of my patrol car and searched incident to arrest for weapons and contraband, finding none. William was then placed in the back seat of my patrol vehicle and seat-belted correctly in.
William was then informed that he was under arrest for Prohibition on nude or sexually explicit material electronic transmissions. For taking an unwanted nude photo of [VICTIM #1] without her consent and posting it onto the social media platform Snapchat. William was then transported to the Barrow County Detention Center, where he was handed over to the detention staff without incident.
Probable cause for this arrest was established due to a nude photo of [VICTIM #1] that William Motes took without consent, while [VICTIM #1] was standing in the shower. William Mote’s cellphone was also seized for evidence, as there is potential for more evidence to be found on William’s phone.
The following warrant will be taken against William Motes:
***O.C.G.A 16-11-90 (c)(2) Prohibition on nude or sexually explicit material electronic transmissions. – A person violates this Code section if he or she, knowing the content of a transmission or post, knowingly and without the consent of the depicted person.
TO WIT: William Motes did knowingly and willingly possess, without consent, a nude photo of [VICTIM #1] and posted the image to the social media platform Snapchat.

[NARRATIVE #2 on October 30, 2025]
On 10/30/2025 I responded Code 1 non-emergency to [500 BLOCK] Providence Cir in reference to a Domestic Dispute.
Upon concluding the initial investigation on scene and providing Ms, [VICTIM #1] a case card for the incident; An [WITNESS #1] subject called Ms. [VICTIM #1] asking what her brother was being charged with. After Ms. [VICTIM #1] told her, she began to blame Ms. [VICTIM #1] for her brother posting the photo of her to her snapchat story, claiming that “she wanted to be a wh*re on Snapchat and try and hook up with all of these guys.” While speaking to [WITNESS #1], she stated that she was on a video call with her brother while the two were having the argument both parties in the Domestic Dispute alleged having. She stated while this argument was happening, she observed her brother retrieve Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s phone, as he began showing her photos of the other men that Ms. [VICTIM #1] had in her phone.
Ms. [WITNESS #1], being a third party, corroberated that Mr. Motes was in possession of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s cell phone at the alleged time the photo was posted to Snapchat, as well as having access to her Snapchat account at that time.
