On September 9, 2026, at approximately 2029 hours, I, Deputy T. Ware of the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, responded to [REDACTED], White, Georgia, in reference to a physical domestic disturbance in progress.

Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1], who was attending to her juvenile child. The juvenile was being treated on scene by Metro EMS personnel and Bartow County Fire personnel.

I asked [VICTIM #1] what had occurred. [VICTIM #1] stated that she had been in the bathtub with her youngest juvenile son when her mother, Angela Lee Harvey, arrived home highly intoxicated. [VICTIM #1] stated that whenever her mother, Angela Harvey, becomes intoxicated, she has a habit of bothering her children.

[VICTIM #1] stated that Harvey entered the children’s bedroom and turned off the television. [VICTIM #1] stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY], the oldest juvenile, became upset because the room was very dark. [VICTIM #1] further stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began crying, at which time Harvey entered the bedroom, placed her hands around [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s neck, and began striking her.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she immediately exited the bathtub while holding her youngest juvenile son and entered the bedroom. [VICTIM #1] told Angela Harvey to leave the room. [VICTIM #1] stated that while she was still holding her juvenile son, Angela Harvey began striking her. [VICTIM #1] then placed her juvenile [REDACTED BY AGENCY] son down and pushed Angela Harvey away from her.

[VICTIM #1] stated that as she attempted to push Angela Harvey out of the bedroom, Harvey continued punching her. [VICTIM #1] stated that when they reached the hallway area, Harvey’s boyfriend, [REDACTED], intervened by grabbing Harvey and escorting her to her bedroom. [VICTIM #1] stated that her daughter was screaming and holding her throat and screaming about how bad it hurt.

[VICTIM #1] stated that she has a Ring camera inside the bedroom; however, the camera does not save recordings because she does not have an active subscription.

I asked [VICTIM #1] where did her mom punch her and she informed me on the right side of the face although I did not see any bruising. I gathered all of the juveniles information that was presence for a report and went over to speak to Angela Lee Harvey.

Angela Harvey stated that her daughter, [VICTIM #1], was accusing her of grabbing her granddaughter by the throat, which she denied. I asked Harvey what had occurred. Harvey stated that the children were still awake and then began discussing an unrelated incident that had occurred approximately two months prior. I informed Angela Harvey that I was not concerned with what had occurred two months ago and was only concerned with what had transpired that night.

Harvey stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was being loud, so she told her to go to sleep. Harvey stated that the other four juveniles were also inside the bedroom at the time.

Harvey then stated that she did not want her daughter, [VICTIM #1], to lose her children again. Harvey stated that the situation was her fault and told me to take her to jail.

I escorted Harvey to my patrol vehicle, where I checked her handcuffs for proper fit and double locked them prior to securing her in the rear of my patrol vehicle.

I then returned to the residence and spoke with [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] stated that he did not witness the incident but heard arguing coming from inside the residence. [REDACTED] stated that he entered the residence and was able to grab Harvey and escort her to her bedroom.

I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who stated that there were approximately fifteen minutes remaining on the television when her grandmother, Angela Harvey, turned the television off. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she began crying, at which time Harvey placed her hands on her.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Harvey was “whooping” her and then scratched her on the leg. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] further stated that Harvey grabbed the back of her neck, squeezed it, and slapped her. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] when her grandmother squeezed her neck if it was hard to breath in which she advised it was.

I did not observe any visible marks or bruising on [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I advised [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s mother that she should have [REDACTED BY AGENCY] evaluated by medical personnel at Cartersville Medical Center. I further advised her that if anything concerning was discovered during the juvenile’s medical evaluation, she should contact Bartow County 911.

I transported Angela Lee Harvey to the Bartow County Jail. I obtained state warrants for Harvey for two counts of Simple Battery. I also completed a DFACS referral.
