On Sunday, August 30, 2025, at approximately 1934 hours, I responded to [400 BLOCK] Oak Street No. 1, Acworth, Bartow County, Georgia, in reference to an assault report.

Upon arrival, I observed Bobby stumbling in the roadway. Bobby advised he was assaulted by a male named [REDACTED]. Bobby advised he confronted [REDACTED] about $15, and [REDACTED] began pushing him. Bobby advised he pushed [REDACTED] back, and [REDACTED] punched him in the face. Bobby advised [REDACTED] tried to hit him again, but he was able to block the punch and hit [REDACTED] back. Bobby advised he got punched in the nose and that is how he got blood all over his bed.

While speaking with Bobby, he was having trouble just standing up. Due to his level of intoxication, I do not believe Bobby would have been able to defend himself the way he said he did.

While speaking with Bobby, I did not observe any blood on or around his nose. I did observe a cut on his elbow, but witnesses on scene advised Bobby had fallen and hurt his elbow. Bobby was advised he could have got blood on his bed due to his elbow bleeding. Bobby then nodded his head yes as if he were agreeing. I asked Bobby where the incident occurred, and he advised he guesses it occurred around his bedroom.

I spoke with Bobby’s cousin [WITNESS #1], who lives at the residence. [WITNESS #1] advised that Bobby and [REDACTED] were arguing over $15. [WITNESS #1] advised that neither Bobby nor [REDACTED] were ever physical with each other at any point during the altercation. I asked [WITNESS #1] where the incident occurred. [WITNESS #1] advised the incident occurred outside on the side of the house. [WITNESS #1] advised he witnessed the entire incident from the steps of his back porch.

I asked [WITNESS #1] who [REDACTED] was and [WITNESS #1] advised [REDACTED] is a friend of his. [WITNESS #1] advised [REDACTED] was Homeless, and [REDACTED] was no longer on scene.

Due to [REDACTED] leaving the scene, I was unable to obtain a statement from him. After speaking with [WITNESS #1] and Bobby, I believed Bobby was not being honest and was falsely reporting a crime. Bobby was very intoxicated, and [WITNESS #1] was not. I believed Bobby was not being honest because he said he was punched in the nose, and he had no injuries to corroborate his statement. Bobby also said he guesses the incident occurred at his bedroom. It is my observation that most people know where they were assaulted. Due to these reasons, Bobby was placed under arrest for false report of a crime.

Bobby was transported to the Bartow County Jail.
