On August 26, 2026, at approximately 1200 hours, I arrived at [80 BLOCK] Wade Rd, Taylorsville, GA, regarding a TPO violation. Upon my arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1].
[VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] explained that their neighbor, Brandon Brawner, was recently arrested, and a conditional bond requires him to stay away from them and have no contact. [VICTIM #1] stated that Brandon texted her last night. She showed me her cell phone, where the contact for Brandon Brawner had texted her this morning at approximately 0056 hours. Some of his text messages to her were random, then about buying a rooster. [VICTIM #1] believed this to violate his conditional bond and is tired of the late-night harassment and threats.
I asked her to upload screenshots of the text messages to the link already provided by Deputy Brand.
I reviewed the conditional bond, which stated absolutely no contact, direct or indirect, signed on August 25, 2026. CASE # 2026-00027893.
Deputies attempted to make contact with Brawner next door at his residence; however, we were unable to locate him at this time.
A few hours later, Brandon contacted 911 dispatch to talk about why deputies were at his residence earlier today. I spoke to Brandon by phone, and he agreed to meet with me to show me what had happened. I arrived at his residence, and Brandon showed me on his cell phone how he was looking at previous text messages between him and [VICTIM #1]. He showed me that if he taps the old message, it puts a like on the message, as if he is responding to the message. This then sends a like and a copy of the message to [VICTIM #1]. Brandon agreed to write out his statement for me. After he completed the written statement, Brandon was placed under arrest. He was handcuffed to the rear, checked for tightness, double-locked, searched, and placed in the rear seat of my patrol car.
He was transported to the Bartow County Jail, where he was booked for aggravated stalking, in violation of his conditional bond.
A warrant for his arrest was completed and signed.
