On 11/22/2025 at 1212 hours, I was dispatched to 5620 Hwy 20, Cartersville, GA, 30121 at the Burger King in reference to a dispute/irate/disorderly call.
Upon arrival, I met with [VICTIM #1], who stated that she and Christopher Harrison met last night at the Days Inn to see each other and claimed that everything was fine. [VICTIM #1] stated that just before the incident took place, she wanted to get away from Christopher because he was acting strangely and “coming off of cocaine.” [VICTIM #1] stated that she went to get food inside Burger King and then went to the bathroom shortly after ordering. [VICTIM #1] stated that Christopher started banging on the woman’s bathroom door and started to try to talk to her. [VICTIM #1] stated that she unlocked the door, and Christopher came inside the bathroom, where he grabbed her by the neck and pinned her against the wall, strangling her. She stated that after he strangled her, Christopher threw [VICTIM #1] to the ground and started to kick her right side rib cage and her head on the right side.
[VICTIM #1] stated that after he was done kicking her, Christopher stole her purse with all her belongings inside, which included $400.00 U.S. dollars, brass knuckles, ID, debit cards, cell phone, and her social security card. Photos of [VICTIM #1]’s injuries that she sustained were taken with my body-worn camera. The injuries that [VICTIM #1] sustained were red marks around her neck, redness on the right side of her head, a cut on her chin, and redness and bruising on her right side rib cage. I called an ambulance to the scene to get [VICTIM #1] treated, and she declined to be taken to the hospital for further treatment. I had dispatch patch me through to [VICTIM #1]’s grandmother, and [VICTIM #1]’s grandmother was going to pick her up at Burger King and take her home.
There was a witness named [WITNESS #1] who stated that she saw [VICTIM #1] come into the Burger King and go over to the ice machine. She began acting weird, such as looking everywhere around her, almost as if she were under the influence of something. [WITNESS #1] then stated she witnessed [VICTIM #1] go into the girls’ bathroom. The witness stated that she saw Christopher enter the bathroom after knocking on the door of said bathroom. [WITNESS #1] stated that she didn’t know exactly what happened after that when Christopher entered the bathroom, but stated that she did hear [VICTIM #1] screaming from inside the bathroom after Christopher entered.
There was video evidence of the incident, and in the footage, I saw [VICTIM #1] enter the Burger King and head into the bathroom. Shortly after she entered the bathroom, Christopher came into Burger King and started knocking on the women’s bathroom door, talking to [VICTIM #1]. After they exchange conversation through the door, it looks like [VICTIM #1] unlocks the door, and Christopher makes his way into the bathroom. The footage does not show anything that happened inside the bathroom after Christopher’s entrance.
I sent a citizen’s upload link to [REDACTED], an employee at Burger King, at the phone number [REDACTED]. I also sent another citizen’s upload to [REDACTED], the email associated with Burger King.
I took arrest warrants for Aggravated Assault (strangulation) because of marks on her neck indicating that she had been choked, Robbery (force) because of her purse being taken by force, and Battery because of the bruising on her ribs and marks on her chin and the right side of her head. All charges are family violence due to the subjects being ex-boyfriend/ girlfriend and having lived together.
This case is pending arrest due to the suspect leaving the scene before my arrival.
[End of Narrative]
